If I don't like the style of a teacher, there's no way I'm staying around for a summer tour, so I got the hell out of there and decided to tour with my band instead...Also, Brett Montgomery is hardly essential in the corps design and bring the corps back to a top 12 Div. 1 corps. Drums are important, but in the grand scheme of music, vis, and GE, percussion really only constitutes a minute percentage of the score. Besides, these guys look so tense when they play, I'd be sore after a week.

actually i believe most lines are marching quints this year. i know cavies are, cadets, boston, blue stars, madison scouts, spirit, and santa clara vanguard always does. i think those lines realize a 6 drum configuration is a little over-kill and they choose less weight over slightly more functionality.
