he's trying, it does bother him that although his spanish is not great neither is mine.

He isn't attempting to speak Spanish. He **is** speaking Spanish. His accent is ghastly: just straightforward American English with almost no attempt to change it. And, of course, plenty of grammar and vocab mistakes. He's abut a high intermediate leve, I'd say.

From Spain: He still has to improve a lot, and yes it is funny but I would tell to your Mayor-"Alcalde" Bloomberg-"Bloombito": KEEP TRYING.... you'll do it better next time because that is the better way to learn a language. It also happen to all the spanish people that are trying to learn English, including me. Never give up. My regards to the City of New York. I've been there three times and I LOVE IT.....
