  • Pat, It looks so good and I'm happy that your going to use the Turnigy 9X. I have two and I love them. If you run into any programming problems just contact me. Make sure you always name your model and check all control surfaces as a habit before each flight cause any receiver you bind to it will work on any of the eight models you store in it. You can buy smaller 6CH receivers (R6B made by Fly Sky who also makes your Turnigy 9X) from hobbypartz for $9 + SH.

Up up and away Dave, out.

  • @DavePatana Thanks..Good to hear that Hobbypartz has what I need...

  • Looking great Pat. I subscribed to make sure I get to see the rest of the build. Nice job!

  • @rgthd007 Thanks...Hope you enjoy the rest....

  • Congrats on gettin a good programable radio! You will love the mixes you can do! Make sure you read up on expo and use it! You'll love how much more precision you'll get and how much smoother it will make your plane fly!

  • @TheLipRipp3r Thanks...Got this radio in mode 1 and switched it to mode 2..

  • just a questio have you ever used those connections. i have and i have never had a crash because of them. i think you are giving them a bad rap if you set the screw right they are bullet proof. i have at least 30 planes that use that type pf connection and i have never had a crash because of them. i have never had one come loose but i guess if you misuse something it will fail

  • @randyneighbour Yes I used those connections before and always had to retighten them...I feel safer if I change them...
