@Mp52Mp10 There are better deals if you look around. I got my alto sax (Yamaha YAS-23) on eBay, used for under $300. And I LOVE my sax.

Well, any sax can sound good with good mouthpiece and good player, but in order for it to sound AMAZING...

saxophone isn't cheap. especially tenor.

If you want something that'll make you hate the sax, under $500.

If you want a decent student sax, around $650 - $1000. If you want a decent amateur sax, $1500 area.

If you want a professional one, around $4000.

I suggest you go with the $900 area.
