I was in debt for €5000 (not from gambling) and received a big tax fine of €2000. In order to pay the tax bill I started gambling.Fortunately I won some money and I was able to pay the tax bill. I continueud to gamble and all of a sudden I was up €2500 out of debt, I thought I was invinsable, but then I kept losing day after day and am now €1500 in debt again. I really want to quit gambling because I can't sleep and I see myself living a lie. Please I could really use some words of encouragement

id have to say gambling addiction is literally like a drug habit. nobody trusts you, it destroys your friends, family, money, and health.

Were all desperate at this point! I know how hard it is to quit! Everytime I gamble it's just never enuf! Winning makes u wanna go more! Losing makes u chase! Then u become despair! Unfortunately, we all have our stories, non are positive. I can begin to state the tremendous values that i lost, but u all have heard it b4. May i say, put aside all the money and time wasted, more worse, is the self destruction and continuous pain that is associated with gambling. For myself, no money, no house, no health, and no family. When will i bloody learn???

Just get a hobby when you have spare time and also get rid credit/debit cards.  Pretend you live back in the 70s, 80s or 90s. Carry as little cash (gas/work lunch money) as you can and ask yourself is the trip worth to bank, to withdrawal more money for the casino? I've gambled my full check and bonuses in a night just to find out I had 6 or 7 bounce checks and a bad negative balance. Worst feeling is when you drive 20-30 miles home and you are worried about your empty tank light!!!!!!
