You pick 3 number like your friends number in. When you loose your phone and some else puts there sim in, it automatically sends you the number to the 3 phone number you put in earlier. You do not need a GPS plan as gps is a free service. Your phone should have a gps in it thats all

Is you simcard still on to the same phone? You can actually check it out to your telephone service provider, they can track it down with or without the your simcard on it. Hope this help.
