hey i have a question can you use a rock band guitar to play guitar hero?

i know it might be a stupid question but i would be grateful if someone gave me the answer instead of make fun of me :)

well im not sure about GH2 but i know that a rock band fender stratocaster guitar will NOT work with GH3. me and my friend tried to play co-op, using the fender to compensate for the lack of another les paul, it wont work it for GH3, you might just need another les paul or xplorer guitar, sorry x.x
