Im puzzled cos sunnis and shias are killing each other all over the middle east that I cant get a clear picture, the ones not killing each other are trying to kill anything non islamic, the smaller islamic sects such as sufis etc dont get the publicity that the larger sects get but have issues relating to brutality and supression too. You are unable to receive the word because you do not have the spirit of YHWH so the word to you is simply words, it is not alive. The NT states that no one can say Jesus is Lord but by the Holy Spirit, but 'you can' say Jesus is Lord, so what does that verse actually mean? It means you can not say/understand/know who Jesus really is unless it has been revealed to you. @MOADAM2010 That is why you need to read the Gospels and 'hear' what Jesus said about them. And yes it is what the OT says. They even reject God has a Son but what does Proverbs 30v4 say, what does Psalm 2v12 say, what does Isaiah 9v6 say, they did not recognise the messiah fulfilling the suffering servant role (passover , Isaiah 53) they only recognised the reigning king prophecy which is His second coming. See John 5v39-40 and read Zechariah chapter 12 about the end time when they understand.

So it was fine for the colonization of Africa, Asia, the America's and Austrilasia. But now the shoe is on the other foot people complain. Canadian citizens are European migrants as much as Muslims are the migrant of today. I think the point you've all missed is thier country of origin has bad conditions compared to what we have in the West. Surely what should be done is improving the social conditions of thier home countries so they will not need to migrate.

Surely, that's their job. If we allow all the well educated people to migrate, the conditions in those countries will never improve. Your examples of colonization of other places really demonstrate why moving large amounts of people is a bad thing. There were vast genocides associated with all of them. There's no need to continue producing social disasters like those of previous centuries. Unless one actually welcomes the idea of mass murder that is. It certainly is an effective way to reduce man's environmental footprint.
