People who are scared and desperate for an answer will attempt to simplify the world's problems by believing there is one cause, which if defeated, will cure everything. That's a very good point. But also I would like to remind everyone that some Egypt was part of the Fertile Crescent. As the name implies, it was a crescent shaped region in the middle east with very fertile land. It looked nothing like it does today. Its the reasons most of world cultures originated from there. It was one of the most fertile places around. And I'll finish with the possibility of also acquiring them through the trade they had set up around the Mediterranean and surrounding areas.
