  • @Wakamim I love you

  • I like in great britian. But, this place looks amazing!

  • Wrong, dingdong, I'm living in Arkansas, and have lived several years each in both Oklahoma and Louisiana -- and I definitely punched Like (except, maybe for where you're coming from).

  • I am a 5th generation Texan, my children are 6th. Texas is a state of mind more than it is a state of America. Either you get it or you do not. Texas forever.

I have been living out on the west coast since 1994 and I have missed my beloved home state ever since.

Good Lord willing I will be back home in the Lone Star State within the next couple weeks.

I am looking forward to all those twangy accents, polite and courteous people and down home hospitality.

(I grew up in TX hill-country) After high school, I left to seek adventure and something great... Since I left: my folks moved to Colorado, my siblings dispersed & my friends r scattered all over. So, my home was no longer in Texas-

    - - it's taken too long for me to realize that my home was never my house... my home is where my heart is, greater than anywhere i found in the world: Texas... <3

    home sweet home

  • Wonderful song bout a wonderful state!

  • A lil true story... bout 30 years ago, my wife was expecting our 2nd son and there was a possibility of me being transfered to Colorado... she told me she'd go with me, but when it was time, she'd be coming back home to give birth and I was invited.... but the child would be born in Texas... no if, ands or buts...I felt the same and needless to say, all our kids were born here

  • Well, it's a Texas thing.

  • Good stuff.

  • @DavidSB1950 Thank you for allowing your child to be born in Texas. There really is no other logical choice. Texas born and raised.

  • I love country songs so much even if i have never travelled in the states it was born. What i'd like would be to live in a state like those 65-70 years ago , before corruption , technology , problems , changes before everything >!

  • I love Texas even though I haven't traveled the whole state. TEXAS FOREVER.

  • i joke heard about a Texan

A English farmer was in his field digging up his potatoes. An American farmer looked over the fence and said

"In Texas we grow potatoes 5 times larger than that!"

The Englishman replied " Ah but we just grow them for our own mouths son!"

  • I was born and raised in Texas and lived there all my life until 7 years ago. I can't wait to get back. Videos like this one make me so homesick. There is no place like home. The video says it all.

  • I'm italian, I've gone many times in USA and it's so a great and beautiful country. I've never been in Texas though but I'd like it. Anyway great song.

  • Born here and don't leave unless I have to. God Bless the Great State of Texas, and the people who share this land!!!

  • There is something about living in Texas, there is so much pride. Not being from here, I quickly found myself on that bandwagon... I can't explain why, but you won't find another state where the people truly love where they live and wouldn't change it for a bit. It says a lot for the moral...

  • Someone give me a reason to get my ass to TX. NOW!

    I am going crazy.

    Anyone know about the

    United Republic of Texas

  • This song is SOOOOOOOO true! Lipscomb, Texas is my home!

  • I would rather be a fencepost in Texas than the King of Mass, NYC, TN or anywhere else!

    amen? AMEN!!

  • What a fabulous video! I am a winter Texan who works in Alaska, and have seen most of these Texas scenes first-hand. All Texas lacks is Denali and dog mushing, but there are probably some can-do Texans working on that...

  • San Antone, I love my hometown. Nothing like going back there on a Harley. I wish I lived there still. Great memory I had last year when I went for a visit was eating a decent sized STEAK, that made my day, then a dance hall and off roading, concert, lovely ladies, man there was alot, and of course don't forget the Alamo. Always honor those men.

  • Man I miss DFW. Used to visit a joint over in Dallas where Gary and other Texas notables used to frequent. Man, those were good days. I think he played at the White Elephant occasionally as well but too many Lone Stars have made it kind of hazy.

  • I got your steer and queer, come to SA for some parking lot therapy. You must be a cum drinking, cock sucking yankee.

  • im from texas, its the best...i was born and raised

  • Mmm...now I'm craving Mi Tierra.

  • I live in the urban part of Texas, AKA: Ft Worth/Dallas. And that's the best part.

You appreciate the State more when you've been to other states that are worse. I can't tell you how terrible it is in New Mexico and Oklahoma. Nothing personal against these states.

  • I agree. After moving from SE Texas to Louisiana I made this slide show. Fortunately, I'm back in Texas, but in a different area than before. (in the NE Dallas area) God Bless Texas!
