Wrong, dingdong, I'm living in Arkansas, and have lived several years each in both Oklahoma and Louisiana -- and I definitely punched Like (except, maybe for where you're coming from).
I am a 5th generation Texan, my children are 6th. Texas is a state of mind more than it is a state of America. Either you get it or you do not. Texas forever.
This made me smile. & ♥ i'll have sweet dreams about this majestic paradise tonight.

(I grew up in TX hill-country) After high school, I left to seek adventure and something great... Since I left: my folks moved to Colorado, my siblings dispersed & my friends r scattered all over. So, my home was no longer in Texas-
- - it's taken too long for me to realize that my home was never my house... my home is where my heart is, greater than anywhere i found in the world: Texas... <3
A lil true story... bout 30 years ago, my wife was expecting our 2nd son and there was a possibility of me being transfered to Colorado... she told me she'd go with me, but when it was time, she'd be coming back home to give birth and I was invited.... but the child would be born in Texas... no if, ands or buts...I felt the same and needless to say, all our kids were born here
i live in a SMALL Texas town! 6 man football to be exact but its amazing out here. open fields for miles and i knw sme places to go outside of levelland that r prett and flat plains with tall grass and those wheat lookin thngs growen and when the wind blows it looks awesome> best way to describe it. just wonderful, I LOVE TEXAS!!!!!!!

Texas was a good country. Now, it is getting overloaded with WETBACKS from MEXICO. Soon, republicans will lose control of everything. Damn nigger loveing dems will win the wetback and nigger votes.
I love country songs so much even if i have never travelled in the states it was born. What i'd like would be to live in a state like those 65-70 years ago , before corruption , technology , problems , changes before everything >!
I'm thinking of going on holiday to texas as some of my mates went and are going again. they said it's awesome. what places would u say where good to go as your a Texan yourself??
Houston is cool because of johnnson space center, alot of proffessional sports, the galleria the 4th biggest mall in the u.s,the san jacinto mounument where texas won independence and close to galveston
Dallas because of forth worth alot of sports and you could see where JKF was assanated
San Antonio because of the alamo, sea word, Six Flags you know alot of tourist attractions!!!
I was born and raised in Texas and lived there all my life until 7 years ago. I can't wait to get back. Videos like this one make me so homesick. There is no place like home. The video says it all.
I'm italian, I've gone many times in USA and it's so a great and beautiful country. I've never been in Texas though but I'd like it. Anyway great song.
i grew up in del rio and now live in san antonio, so the picture of the eagles at amistad lake really hit me hard. i love it here and don't want to be anywhere else
I'd really love to see more of Texas. I've only been in The Dallas/Fort Worth Airport twice. I live in South Florida. God Bless Texas, The Lone Star State!
There is something about living in Texas, there is so much pride. Not being from here, I quickly found myself on that bandwagon... I can't explain why, but you won't find another state where the people truly love where they live and wouldn't change it for a bit. It says a lot for the moral...
What a fabulous video! I am a winter Texan who works in Alaska, and have seen most of these Texas scenes first-hand. All Texas lacks is Denali and dog mushing, but there are probably some can-do Texans working on that...
San Antone, I love my hometown. Nothing like going back there on a Harley. I wish I lived there still. Great memory I had last year when I went for a visit was eating a decent sized STEAK, that made my day, then a dance hall and off roading, concert, lovely ladies, man there was alot, and of course don't forget the Alamo. Always honor those men.
Man I miss DFW. Used to visit a joint over in Dallas where Gary and other Texas notables used to frequent. Man, those were good days. I think he played at the White Elephant occasionally as well but too many Lone Stars have made it kind of hazy.

I moved frome TN to TX and for the first 5 years hated it but now I've met the greatest girl I know and she's a 100 percent TX woman so I've found my silver linning and I can now overlook what I hate about this place.
I live in the urban part of Texas, AKA: Ft Worth/Dallas. And that's the best part.
You appreciate the State more when you've been to other states that are worse. I can't tell you how terrible it is in New Mexico and Oklahoma. Nothing personal against these states.
I agree. After moving from SE Texas to Louisiana I made this slide show. Fortunately, I'm back in Texas, but in a different area than before. (in the NE Dallas area) God Bless Texas!
What I don't like about Texas is all the G'damn Californians moving here!

I was 10 months when my military Dad was transferred to San Antonio.
I have been living out on the west coast since 1994 and I have missed my beloved home state ever since.
Good Lord willing I will be back home in the Lone Star State within the next couple weeks.
I am looking forward to all those twangy accents, polite and courteous people and down home hospitality.
God Bless Texas and Texans everywhere.
I'm goin' home.

i joke heard about a Texan
A English farmer was in his field digging up his potatoes. An American farmer looked over the fence and said
"In Texas we grow potatoes 5 times larger than that!"
The Englishman replied " Ah but we just grow them for our own mouths son!"
