I have been to a submission only (no points or time limit) tournament, but they loook interesting. They could be adapted to a regular tournament by making a time limit and neither people advance if there is no submission. Of course you would need to seed the fighters correctly. Or just please play this fight with music instead!

@makowon I wouldnt call laimons points victory over ryron much of a win,he played totally for points and then ran.WE all know lame on has a bee in his boonet with rorion so is anti gracie in general.IF ryron concentrated on sport grappling hed be medalling at adcc and mundials.Id love to see him back on the comp mat.
