  • That looks like it would be really good with some bacon on it. Add bacon. It will be better.

    ...or Prosciutto, if you want to be all "Italian" with it.

  • WAY to much salt. That would be to much salt if the butter was unsalted (which it should be). Make the effort, use real garlic.

  • Preheat oven to 425F

    Finely mince 1 large clove of garlic and 1 spring parsley, add to bowl with 1 stick softened unsalted butter. Grate in 2-3 Tablespoons parm or romano, mix well. Salt to taste.

    Halve a fresh french roll, and generously spread on butter mixture. Sprinkle with paprika.

    Bake at 425F for about 7 minutes, or until edges turn crispy.

    Real garlic makes a world of difference.

  • when i had my pizza shop i had stone bake ovens and used to cook on the stone and yes it is good that way
