There is a deleted segment in which Coraline (During the scene when Wybie comes to her house looking for the doll, and she tries to explain to him what happened) says "Your grandmother's black, right?" If he were completely black, she probably wouldn't have needed to ask that.

I like how his theme fits him perfectly, he's mysterious, yet eerie and sometimes creepy to Coraline, but it's still a little fun sounding too in the beginning with the little instrument. Then the ending part kind of symbolizes his innocence doesn't it?

Common misconception, but Tim Burton had nothing to do with Coraline. It says "from the director of the nightmare before christmas" which is actually Henry Selick. Tim Burton wrote the story for The nightmare before Christmas, but did not direct it. Tim Burton is not involved with this movie in any way. Just thought I'd clear that up.

haha, I love Wybie! He was so fun and lovable, but I always felt so bad for the other version of him; you could tell he was fighting some internal conflict, cuz he wanted to rebel against other mother. But I think I really like him cuz he reminds me of my crazy boyfriend. XD
