you better get you a gun...cause now days people are just getting in schools and shooting people that aren't armed...that's the only solution...get a gun license and get to a gun range and practice...I guess you never know when were going to be in a shoot out!...you might to believe in guns but innocent people are dying and the cops don't get there fast enough...I rather have it and not need it then to need it and not have it....get a pistol cause its heading back to the western days

Getting a gun and bringing it to school won't do anything. Chances are someone will get pissed off one day and accidentally start shooting out of anger and than go oh shit, oops. Plus having a gun with you probably won't do an awful lot. Think of this guy or the columbine, this guy killed 5 people and at Columbine they killed 12 between the 2 of them.

If someone comes in shooting at you, chances are your first impulse won't be to get the gun but if it is you probably will miss like the shooters often do and this will just make you a bigger target because the shooter now knows you have a gun.

I was so saddened by this horrific event. Matt Lauer in his interview of the two male students who witnessed the shooting, brought up an excellent point. THE FACT THAT MOST CLASSROOMS ONLY HAVE ONE ENTRY AND EXIT MAKING IT VERY EASY FOR A GUNMAN TO CONTROL THE ROOM AND DO ALOT DAMAGE IN VERY LITTLE TIME. they should pass legislature which requires an exit door every maybe 10 feet for example with a minimum of maybe four exits per classroom.

i agree, but in this case, the room actually has 4 exits, but of course one of which was blocked by the gunman, such an unfortunate event.
