  • Epicness in a YouTube

  • banana

  • *headdesks* only video games I play are DS/GBA. The best game series I've ever seen has got to be Golden Sun, however.

  • i can not make out the words the quires sings, is it even english? any help?

  • @yuvalandspeed I suspect it's a language from the book; Peter Jackson used as many of the Middle-Earth language passages and verses from LOTR as he could in the film. The dramatic bits might in the speech of Mordor, the choir boy in Elvish. Not that I'm any expert, but it's definitely not English.

  • HAHA!! I KNEW IT!!! I just played oblivion and there is a quest named "A Knife in the Dark" and I thought, "hmm, I've heard this before..." OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!

  • I take a dump while listening to this song

  • Making a Sandwich listening to this.... EPIC. Using my knife like an axe in the cheese....BRILLIANT.

  • I felt a chill on my back!

  • We played this in my youth symphony.

1:45 always gave me chills. <3

  • The song of the Horde, May the light destroy their inner darkness.

  • Frodo in this scene: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH"

  • Kudos to Avenged Sevenfold for putting a Nazgul scream in the beginning of one of their songs, that's what first got me hooked on them ;D

  • I wanna know what they are saying

  • This song makes the washing up so much more epic, i feel like i'm helping out Saruman and shit.

  • Aragorn was so incredibly badass in this scene. Fighting off five Nazgul pretty much on his own, while they're confronted with the One Ring and thus pretty much determined to get Frodo.

  • this my friends is art!only a melody, only a song that can make u feel the movie like u where there!just epic..lord of the rings the best movie ever made!<3

  • So, the lesson: Never post the guy with the mysterious golden ring on the side the Wraiths come in. Surround him! He is fallible when confronted with insubstantial beings.

    [Joking comment.]

  • 2:48-3:20-for my opinion, a great part of the track

  • Bârî'n Nidir nê !!!!!!

  • I came at 1:45

    we cling to the darkness

and now we come, the nine,

    lords of eternal life

  • I like the end beginning 2:20

  • FRODO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT BATTLES TO THIS SONG IN SKYRIM!

  • @TheRighteousFist Interestingly enough, Oblivion seemingly pays homage to this soundtrack with one of the Dark Brotherhood quests having the same name.

  • @ItsTheSecretAsian This is also the title of one of the chapters in the Fellowship. Actually, alot of the song titles seem to be taken from the titles of chapters in the books.

  • @TheRighteousFist It matches so well

  • @TheRighteousFist opposites:

    sky-earth

    rim-middle

  • @TheRighteousFist HELL YEA!

  • @TheRighteousFist why do u think i looked up this song in the first place !

  • @iqalliqdq LOL, I already uploaded a video of myself fighting to this song on my alternate channel. It's called FistiesPlace, and the video is called "Run Elder Dragon Run!" Fighting to this music is insane!

  • @TheRighteousFist could be great!

  • @TheRighteousFist You can. It's pretty easy to edit the folder and put this music in the game.

  • @emoguys11 In that case, would you care to send me a message explaining how? I was thinking of downloading audio mods, but if you know how, I'm all ears.

  • @TheRighteousFist thats exactly why i came to this video

  • @TheRighteousFist Screw that i want the whole freaking lotr soundtrack mixed with skyrims whilst fighting battles!

  • @TheRighteousFist skyrim gay, dark souls ftw!

  • @playstationextremist FUCK YOU, SKYRIM IS AN ELDER SCROLLS, ONLY THAT MEANS IT IS THE BEST RPG IN THE WORLD! ALSO, MORROWIND IS BETTEERRR AHHHHHHHHH!

  • @dfghj241 Skyrim is best RPG in the world, if it is only RPG you have ever played. Elder Scrolls means nothing.

  • @playstationextremist nope, it is not the only rpg i played, but ive been playing elder scrolls for years, since daggerfall actually, many things have changed, skyrim is by far the most userfriendly edition, dark souls definitly is a good game, ive played it and i loved it yes, but when you say that skyrim is gay and dark souls is better, i just cant stand still and let you say that, both are very diferent types of rpg, maybe elder scrolls is to "open" to you...

  • @dfghj241 i exagerated a bit. Skyrim is a good game, great even. i just hate how all of the gaming community think that its the best RPG ever, when its obviously not.

  • @playstationextremist definitly it isnt, it may emerge you a little but i still think the 4th and 3th did a better job, dont get me wrong, i still played 100 hours in 10 days XD, but thats was out of nostalgia to the other games, morrowind is still the most emersive rpg i know, no rpg is going to make you feel so.. you know.. like you were there, it may not LOOK like the best, but for me, nothing can beat it!

  • @playstationextremist elder scrolls was very unique and definitly its titles means somenthign for the world of gaming.

  • @dfghj241 sure, but there are better RPG's out there.

  • @playstationextremist if deus ex 1 is considered a rpg, than you have a point! XD

  • @dfghj241 i've only played oblivion and skyrim, since they're current gen games. Although i've played several RPG's including the older Shining Force games. Personally, my favorite RPG is Fallout 1. I luv that game, had one of the best and original stories in gaming that i have heard and it just took a different turn and proved that an RPG just doesnt have to be a Medieval Fantasy with dragons and swords. In my opinion Dark Souls had a more interesting world than Skyrim though :P

  • @playstationextremist yea! definitly, one thing that impressed me about morrowind is that close to none of it is medieval at all, actually, most of the places are very unique, you know, like they dont base them self on one culture, like they did with ob and skyrim, they created out of nowhere! and yea, i didnt played much of dark souls cuz i dont have a xbox/ps3, but right now i want to play more dark souls than skyrim.

  • @dfghj241 Dark Souls is amazing man. I have almost 100 hours into it and it is one of the most challenging and satisfying games i've played in a while. The most unique thing about Dark Souls is unlike most RPG's, where the games starts out hard but gets easy as you level up and progress, Dark Souls starts off harder and only gets harder. its a challenging game throughout, but so satisfying after you finally beat every boss. I highly recommend it, if you enjoy a very difficult game.

  • @playstationextremist if i could get myself a xbox or ps3 definitly the first game i would buy right now is dark souls, it is a very unique type of rpg, a survival rpg and not a goal rpg, your main goal in dark souls is surviving the impossible, unlike so many others, like, you fail in a part of the game, then you train, and when you come back to that part it becomes incredible easy, but i may try dark souls out in february, i will buy a ps3 i think!

  • @dfghj241 yea, PS3 is the way to go. I myself am taking a break from console gaming and am saving up some moneys for a new gaming PC. First game im looking to get is The Witcher 2, classic story-focused RPG. Be Warned with Dark Souls however. There is no hand-holding, the game doesnt tell you anything but the basics of the world you're exploring and fighting in and the only tutorial you get is teaching you how to use the controls (how to attack, sprint, etc.) It's all trial and error. Great Game

  • @playstationextremist wow man thats exactly it, trial and error, you die alot but you always get back in your feet to try again, and im kinda used to that, all the elder scrolls taking out oblivion and skyrim are like that, really poor tutorial, they just throw you into this massive open world and you dont know what to do, thats why alot of people dont like it at first =/ but yea i've played it alittle at my neighbor house, i kinda now the tricks XD

  • @dfghj241 good luck.

  • @TheRighteousFist There is a quest named like this in Oblivion :D (It's named A Knife in the Dark.)

  • Hide the Ring if you hear this song...

  • This is being played at my funeral.

  • @Ungortable

If so it seems to me like you wish for an unholy Resurrection to happen.

  • @Ungortable So your funeral is now?

  • @Ungortable Hahaha mine too

  • 0:26-1:25

Always plays in my head when playing Minecraft and i'm surrounded by creepers

  • @SupahDrone

That's true, and it says a lot because Star Wars was Awesome. This is 10x the Awesomeness

  • @SupahDrone don't compare them as they are from different eras and part of different genres.

  • @SupahDrone I agree... compare the lord of the rings to harry potter instead. you know which one's better!

  • @SupahDrone they both are good in their own way but they are too far off from each other to be compared. I think the better rivalry here is lotr and harry potter. Which lotr is clearly the superior one.

  • @SupahDrone Oh, I agree it's better. But I wouldn't go as far as 10x.

  • @SupahDrone indeed way better

  • @SupahDrone Thems fightin' words.

  • @Exofluke yeah it's my favorite part of the whole song. it will always remind me of the 2 towers, when aragorn hears gandalfs voice "look to my coming at first light on the fifth day, at dawn look to the east!" when i first saw that in a packed cinema, it was epic!

  • @slimithy13 That's "Forth Eorlingas" from the two towers OST, right? That's actually my favorite part out of all the soundtracks... xD

  • @i4gotmyaccountname you are so awesome

  • @i4gotmyaccountname hmmm no i dont think ive ever had a need to scream like that

  • @i4gotmyaccountname i do nazgul screams in school and everyone is all like oh it's you your the weird elf obsessed Tolkein nerd like it's something bad or something like that i am proud to be a Tolkein fan!!!!!!!;p
