Not only that, but all the industries mentioned (and I'm sure more) to be merged, will be regulated by a world government and not the private sector. It's a slow and steady march towards a communist police state, but on global scale. Our own constitution will become meaningless as we will probably end up accepting a new one designed by affluent bankers.

Our constitution and bill of rights are all based around the value of the individual. With globalism that is all gone. No individual, only the state. A socialist doctrine in of itself. That's why we fought the socialists, the facists, and the communists, to maintain the individual as a legitamet part of a state.

Well, me personally, I'm pretty pissed about Iraq. We went in illegally, without declaring war, which made me suspicious, even back then. I supported Bush when he first ran, because he ran as a true constitutional conservative, no big government,no nation building/ setting international policy, and obeying the constitution. But then, after 9/11 he did a complete 180. Now almost 70% of Americans want us out of Iraq...Hang on i'll continue on the next post. (Ran out of letters)

Leave Europe to it's own devices along with the rest of the world, but stay out of it's little scraps and shinanagins. Get rid of this overbearing government, and let the people rule themselves. That is what congress should be, not career politicians. Regular joe's from off the farm. Serving for two or three terms, then going back to farming.

And I agree with your final point. I don't think the U.S. will be destroyed from the outside (not out of pride) simply because of geographic location and our fierce resistance to outside attacks. If we are destroyed or absorbed it will because we "shoot ouselves in the foot." We do need a better leadership. But I also think our entire nation could use a massive attitude check.
