It's magic :P Okay, it's not, you just move the coins little by little and take a photo each time you have moved them, and then when you put the photos one after another it seems as if the coins were moving. The logic is same as in videos in general: they're just motionless photos after another.

it's called stop-motion, xD you move the coin a tiny bit -and take a picture, then you move it a little bit again - and then you take a picture etc. It takes A LOT of time, to make a long movie, like this :D

Well, the story goes: I don't like coins in my purse 'cause when I open it, they fall from there and roll around etc. etc. so one day I took the coins out of the purse and put them into a tin can. For a year or so always when I got coins I put them to the can, so that I didn't have to carry them in my purse, and then one day I realized the can was getting quite heavy, so I counted the coins and there was almost 200 € worth of coins there . . . and that's how I got them, kinda accidentally :)

There are 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent, 1 € and 2 € coins, mostly Finnish but also from all the other European countries who use euro coins.

Yeah, theyr one of many good nordic bands, i dont know whats going on with Nordic music but i like the direction its heading in atm.

Geeky question: I see atleast 8 diffrent colours of coins in your movie, are they all Finlandian?

Finland is using the Euro coins, and there are 8 of them. Although here we only use 6 (the smallest coins 1 and 2 cents are not used in Finland). But there aren't 8 different colours since for example 50, 20 and 10 cent coins are the same colour. Anyway, the colour depends on the angle of the camera and the age of the coin (older ones get darker), so you probably see lots of different colours . . . Sorry 'bout the long answer :P I hope you got the point.

Yes, I took about 1500-2000 photos, so separate pictures. I used Windows Movie Maker, not the best program, but I'm not professional :P Now that I'm on summer holiday, I have planned to make more and I already have few ideas, but we'll see...Suggestions on music and animations are welcome!
