I have had 4 Subaru's now over the years! One the same as this and was my fav by far! This is a Type-Ra very different from your standard WRX or STI because these were the light weight model ;-) The Type-Ra and Type-R STI's Are fitted with a "Driver Controlled Centre Differential" AKA "DCCD" That had a 30/70 torque split to the rear wheels! And a R160 Rear diff with LSD fitted and also a Close-Ratio Gear Box with Group N Ratios! This is why the RA Can Drift with ease! This model was also fit

how did you make the front not to grip? I have the same car but I have a too strong grip on the front wheels for doing such a brite drift.

by the way, it is the most amaisig car ever!!! since I have it I would not want to have any other cars. even if my one is from the year 2000.... I would not swop it with a new one. The old imprezas are real hardcore! If only the petrolconsume would be moderated :)

@Chimpieyo"STi" became a model in '98 or so, so this would be a WRX ra. they were "tuned by STi" as written on the intercooler
