well hmm, for this song i used redrum which i had in a combinator, and had the kick and snare into seperate eq,s and both going into reverb. i guess if you maximize too much or use scream with too much damage you can end up making the drums muddy

On a side note: I have a question. Is Record useful if I don't have any instruments (i.e. a real guitar, piano, etc.) ? Cause I'm working in Reason 4 and I'm thinking about Record but I don't know if it'll be any useful for recording only using a MIDI keyboard and a drum machine.

I'd say it is, firstly it has multicore support, so large projects run smooth (although it is heavier on the CPU than reason), the new mixer is awesome, and the timestretch is sweet!

i dont think i'll use Reason standalone anytime soon :P

but try the demo if you want to be sure!
