  • I put the nasty face on this video.. awesome

  • WHOA! Where's the rest of the sermon?

  • This guy is great..all the razzle dazzle you could want

  • you better minister razor........i love it and i dont like alot of stuff

  • Even if a hater happened to hear this, they would have to call on the name of the Lord!!! Bless the name of the Lord, brethren!

  • o godddddddddddd

  • I did a tutorial of this video! LOL! I wish!...Now why did I think the man @ 5:48 was about to sing "Everybody was Kung Fu fighting!" That's what happens to your mind when you lose sleep watching these greats on youtube.

  • @KareemByEar1Year LML!!!

  • Ummm......I think the misunderstanding here is that this was a CONCERT!. I remember being there and I actually remember when Tony asked Lennard to do this. He told him he wanted him to go all out and thats what he did. Lennard is and has always been the most humble cats and never stuck on himself. Since this was a musical it was more for performance more than anything which is ok because there is a time and place for everything.

  • Still one of the most talent organist I have EVER heard!! Most of these negative comments are coming from uninformed people PROBABLY don't even play, or have a very limited history of music: trained or untrained. I will be 49 soon! I have heard and seen the best your chord voicing and clean playing- Puts you in a league of the greats! Why Judge? Just Appreciate! Your A Musical Genius! That all! period!! End of STORY! God bless Dr.

  • ... and uneducated when it comes to music, and our abilities. Now those who have engaged in this practice will respond in kind. Which is what stupid, over zealous, ignorant, kiss *** groupies do! But I digress. Again Mr. Razor, I do believe you to be a gifted and talented musician, it is apparent that you love The Lord. And I have seen you in other videos on Youtube that were very good, and very inspiring, TO ME AT LEAST. Finally, again, excuse me if YOU were affected by my words. Thank you

  • That does not mean that I hate you, I hate your playing, and that I am out to destroy your career, Unfortunately, you have some very ignorant, and dare I say stupid, over zealous groupies who have made it their business to ANOINT THEMSELVES, in such a way, that somehow, THIER OPINION, is somehow FACT!!! They are under the misnomer, that because THEY have gotten together and decided this was the greatest thing since sliced bread, somehow, the rest of us with descending opinion are misguided ...

  • I meant NO disrespect to YOU Lennard. I did not mean to imply that God has NOT anointed YOU! I was simply reacting to the performance contained in THIS VIDEO! I do not know you to say that YOU are not a man of faith, a man of God, or to say that God has not blessed you to be a representative of His kingdom. I was saying, that I felt that this solo was NOT played under the anointing. I further went on to say in other posts that I did not particularly care for this performance.

  • Firstly - TO: LENNARD RAZOR - If you should happen to come across this video and read my previous posts, and if you even care, I wish to beg your pardon. In my initial reaction to this video, I stated "Skilled yes, annointed no." After a certain prick decided he was going to challenge me for my statement, and presume to insult my character in the process, based on my inadvertant spelling of the word ANOINTING, I decided to respond in kind, and clarify what I meant by that simple phrase.

  • (HARD SIGH) . . . . I was going through the web history on my phone, and came across this video again. After seeing the latest comments, I said I was not going to comment any further. I was not going to delve into this pointless back and forth anymore. But something is eating away at me, and I must address a few points, and make some serious clarifications.

  • Thanks godschild...I looked this up and you are on the money...We need more people like yourself on these message boards. After learning what he was really playing, I find it laughable that some on here are saying that he butchered the song, or I didn't hear the song..one guy even said he wasn't anointed...It appears everyone, like myself, just wasn't knowledgeable as to what song, or prelude he was actually playing.

  • lennard praise God brother. you played for Gods glory he didnt really care for what people thought and for the record he played the classical prelude to the lords prayer not the church version the classical one

  • Well, I guess that's what I get for arguing with a 12 year old. (slaps own wrist).

  • Good grief...What's all the fuss...I know Lennard and he is one of humblest people I know. I don't believe that he even has a youtube channel. Before I showed him this video, he didn't know it existed and really didn't care after I showed it to him. He is highly anointed and skilled and not big headed. I doubt he would want anyone defending him on this page. I think Observermisuc and SDH74 should just leave him to himself and his ministry, as he is also a preacher.

  • What's all the discussion, the dude got some good licks, but that version must be a remix, cuz, i can barely recognize it, and as for anointed, or anointing or what ever, he is playing to hear himself, and for whomever is recording it

  • After listening to this several times I would like to know, why did it take him nearly six minutes to finish the song? It sounded like he was trying to play as many runs and chord progressions he could play in every bar. There is no doubt in my mind after listening to Leonard play that he has God given talent. But he will learn as all seasoned musicians learn at some point and time. Sometimes less brings out more. Meaning: We must decrease (less of us) so God can be increased (more of him).

  • @ObserverMusic - I got something else you can spell ....

  • @ObserverMusic - and for the last time ... I said this performance performance performance was not played under the anointing. But stupid ignorant over confident fools such as you only see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear. THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU IGNORANT!!

  • @sdh74 "and for the last time"....HaHaHaHa...You sound like the preacher who keeps saying "I'm getting ready to close".LOL... According to your own words, you were finished with me yesterday!!!NOW I WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO REALLY BE FINISHED WITH SOMEONE. Keep your head up and keep judging who is "annointed" or not....BYE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. note I used you spelling of anointed!!!!....hahahhahahahahahahaha

  • @sdh74 what is playing under the anointing? if I may ask?

  • @ObserverMusic - You know nothing of my musical background, depth of knowledge, or intellect, nor can you begin to grasp the level of my commitment to music, music history, and most importantly to music ministry. Again, you are an ignorant, arrogant, cult minded Groupie, who doesn't know what he is talking about and to whom you are speaking. But I digress, everytime you post one of these stupid comebacks, you are just further proving my point.

  • @sdh74 I may be all of the things you called me, but I;m not the one who has ever stated that someone online is not anointed because I did't like they way they played...And I have responded to many post and initiated many posts online...You said a while back that you were finished with me and I said good, you should stop replying...You haven't stopped yet...You spend a lot of time with someone who in your very words is an ignorant, arrogant, cult minded Groupie"...that says a lot about you!!!!!

  • @ObserverMusic - those who don't agree with you. You sound like a cult member each time you post a response!

  • @ObserverMusic - And yes the Bible does instruct us to play skillfully, but again, as impressive as his rolls and runs were, HE BUTCHERED THAT SONG! There is nothing you can say that will convince me otherwise! Not your Bible references, not your references to these "scholars" who you CLAIM agree with you. Not your juxtaposition about my faith in God or commitment to Christ, or your rambling insults. LENNARD RAZOR'S musical ability IS HIS! Not yours to spew ignorant rebukes to

  • @sdh74 I use to say that shakesphere butchered literature....How ignorant I was simply because I didn't have literary interpretation and/or understanding of more complex literature pieces...I perceive that the same thing is occurung with your opinion!!!

  • @ObserverMusic - But the reality is you don't own anything except your opinion. And just to make sure I was being objective, I sat and watched this performance again, and it into reinforced my initial assessment. There is NOTHING classical or reminiscent of TCHAIKOVSKY in ANYTHING he played! It was just an over saturation of improvisation on a song that was NOT recognizable except at the very beginning, and about 2 mins till the end!

  • @sdh74 Oh sure, There were some trills used that I would say come directly from some of the great composers

  • @ObserverMusic - I didn't have to get anybody to agree with me. You are so closed minded, and ay this point, so ignorant, you have dilluded yourself into thinking that yours is the only opinion that matters. I guess because you posted the video, you take a certain level of pride and ownership in this young man's ability and performance.

  • @sdh74 Wrong again...I have no idea who posted this video. I was directed to it and I like it. I directed others to it and they like it. So now I'm ignorant....I can accept that from you because I am confident in who I am and what I like. I'm not so ignorant as to call someone not anointed because I don't understand what they are doing or even if I don't like what they are doing....

  • According to Psalms 33:3..God is looking for skill as the bible says "play skilfully with a loud noise"...The lack of skill in others does not constitue a lack of anointing in those who practice, study, and work to play an instrument the right way. I"m not impressed when you go and get a friend to help you with posts or you post as a second person to agree with yourself...LOL....BY THE WAY It's not called living vicariously, It's called understanding the ways and word of God!!!

  • Comment removed

  • FROM MUSICIANS, GOD IS LOOKING FOR SKILL!!!! PSALMS 33:3!!!!!

  • If this were a recital the fact that others who study music and know and understand complicated musical arrangements should be VERY IMPRESSED, I am, But God is looking for pure, simple, WORSHIP in SPIRIT and in TRUTH not in the AWE of MAN but sweet to the ear of GOD

  • GROUPIES ARE HILLARIOUS, YOU CAN'T LIVE vicariously through someone else! it's ok to admire, but to thine ownself be true! ABSOLUTELY NO ANOINTING ALL SHOW! What song was this!?

  • GROUPIES ARE HILLARIOUS, YOU CAN'T LIVE vicariously through someone else! it's ok to admire, but to thine ownself be true! ABSOLUTELY NO ANOINTING ALL SHOW!

  • @chanteametcalfe You know what I find most interesting about this "observer"? How is it that you can attack someone else's character because of a typo, but if you look at his retorts and rants in defense of this person, which I can only describe as CONFLUENT, yet DISJOINTED, if you were to print this out you would run out of red ink correcting his or her grammatical and spelling errors.

  • @chanteametcalfe - AND WHO KNEW that Mr. Razor held the keys to the kingdom? Because according to this vicarious observer . . . because we have critiqued him, somehow WE, are an embarrasment to the body of Christ! Oh yeah, and damn the fact that he judged me as being "a pitiful musician", eventhough he/she hasn't heard me play, but somehow, I AM the one who garnered the scripture quote.

  • @chanteametcalfe AND AS IF SOMEONE ASKED THIS "OBSERVER", and as if they have exclusive admonition, HE/SHE HAD THE TEMERITY TO TRY TO QUALIFY THEIR ARGUMENT ABOUT WHO IS AND WHO ISN'T ANNOINTED, BASED ON SOMEONE ELSE'S OBSERVATION!!! I MEAN . . . REALLY?!?! So in conclusion, NO ONE ELSE can discern the anointing, and no one else is as anointed as THIS musician, according to the one who as you so poignantly stated, is living vicariously off of someone else's performance!!! #EpicLoser

  • Comment removed

  • So be it. Now go to sleep.

  • @sdh74 SO it is....But not bedtime yet....

  • Comment removed

  • Another thing Mr. Scholar .... Do we LOSE sleep or do we LOOSE sleep? Spell check your own self righteous self!

  • @sdh74 To answer this....Spell check would not help here. Lose is a word and Loose is also a word. It may be gramattically misplaced within the context of our discussion, so may a grammar check would help.

  • @ObserverMusic - Okay . . . I am officially tired of you . . . so let us put this baby to bed once and for all, because I would like for YOU to get some sleep tonight! Mmmkay? Firstly . . . Leonard Razor or is it LENNARD Razor, is a gifted and talented musician. I have said this before. He ranks high among other gifted and talented musicians that I have seen in person or online or where ever else. However . . . .

  • @sdh74 OK...If you are tired of me, just stop responding!!!!It's that simple. However, I kinda like this discourse.

  • @ObserverMusic . . . . THIS particular performance of The Lord's Prayer, albeit very entertaining, WAS NOT being played under the anointing! There is a difference between playing under the anointing and playing under the spotlight! And just because somebody is gifted with the ability to play a bunch of rifts and runs, and lay down some phat chords, does not mean they are always ANOINTED!!! There are gifted singers, preachers, musicians, and dancers that work for The Lord . . . .

  • Comment removed

  • @sdh74 That's interesting because I have shown this site to other Christians who study music or are majoring in music and they say the very opposite. Would it be because they know and understand complicated musical arrangements, They don't see this as playing under the spotloght, to them it is implementation of classical movements into an old standard. The have stated that this arrangement is anointed, even some from other countries have made such statements on this very blog.

  • @ObserverMusic - . . . but I have heard, and seen MANY who are acting and moving in SELF (spotlight), and not under the direction of The Holy Ghost. In this particular showing, Mr. Razor started out playing The Lord's Prayer, and somehow, it ended up being a tribute to ART TATUM!! So in conclusion . . . . AGAIN, I SAY UNTO YOU . . . THIS PERFORMANCE WAS NOT ANOINTED . . . IT WAS ENTERTAINING . . . BUT IT WAS A SHOW!!! AND NO . . . I DIDN'T LIKE IT FOR THAT REASON!!! NOW TAKE A NAP!!!

  • Comment removed

  • That you have blown completely out of proportion with your pompous pointless retort. You like this rendition, I DON'T! Get over it!! And for somebody who is seeking higher education, you need to learn how to disagree without being disagreeable. You also need to learn how to bring somebody around to your way of thinking without being a condescending sanctumonious prick! Good day.

  • Comment removed

  • @sdh74 I believe that you are pompous...It was you who judged that he was not anointed because you don't like the way he played the song...That's a fairly arrogant and pompous position. It's one thing to say I don't like this rendition or the way he played it, but to say he is not anointed because you don't like it is way over the top. That's why many unbelivers turn away from Christianity because statements such as yours illustrates a fundamental lack of Christian knowledge.

  • You are so off brand. I don't understand how a typo can generate all of this diatribe. I am done with you and this stupid argument, because you don't know what you are talking about. And furthermore, having a descending opinion about one's performance does not constitute all of this rhetoric. And what do non believers have to do with anything? Me not liking the way he played this song calls my salvation and belief in God into question? And it wasn't weird it was a simple statement .....

  • Comment removed

  • @sdh74 The differing opinion is not regarding whether you or I like/dislike the way he played....I don't like the way a lot of people do things, but to say they are not anointed simply because I don't like it makes me out to be a bit more than I really am! I believe that the Apostle Paul put it this way "Who Art Thou That Judgest Another Man's Servant" Romans 14:4. And to have Jesus's servant anointing judged by whether you like or dislike his playing is quite wierd...

  • @ObserverMusic IN ANY EVENT, if HE is the one that is not losing any sleep, THEN LET HIM RESPOND TO ME AND THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT SAID THE SAME THING!!! AGAIN - I SAID HE IS SKILLED I GIVE HIM . . . OR YOU . . . THAT, but it is my OBSERVATION that this is more performance and LESS offering!!! And I don't know who you are calling pitiful, but of course YOU DON'T have any videos to show the rest of us "how it's done" now do you? In conclusion, DON'T COME FOR ME WHEN I DIDN'T SEND FOR YOU!

  • @sdh74 I didn't come for you....I just believe that if one is going to post about the anointing, one should at least know how to spell it. I come across so many unbelievers who are turned off about church simply because some people say things as Christians that are embarrasing to the body of Christ. And to talk about the anointing without knowing how to spell anointing falls into that category...There is nothing wrong with Christians obtaining education and training and letting God use it!!!!

  • Skilled yes, annointed no. Sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • @ObserverMusic - Excuse my extra "N" . . . but I stand by my initial assessment. (Care to spellcheck that one too?)

  • @sdh74 I'm sure he won't loose any sleep over your assessment...I just get tired of hearing pitiful musicians put down anointed musicians because they can't play like this. If some of these broken down keyboard punishers would commit to training and prayer, then they would develop like ability...I'm sure that you are skilled determining who has the "annointing" or not, but your discernment appears to be severely flawed in this assessment!!!

  • @ObserverMusic A) Obviously you have some kind of relationship with this person, or B) You are the person in the video and you are so pathetic and egotistical you are signing in under a different handle to respond to criticism that obviously YOU CANNOT TAKE . . . or it could be C) You are just some lonely insecure pathetic loser who makes it his or her business to pick fights with people you don't know, under the cover of the internet of course, because it is your way of conquering your demons.

  • @sdh74 Wrong again...I respond when people make wierd statements about others. I look at this video a lot to try to understand some of the movements integrated into the song....I am a student of music who wish I could play like this...I also love the Lord and I know the anointing and presence of God...I can see the hand of God on this young man and about 4 others that I regularly follow. They may not care to post but I will when I see comments like unsubstantiated, wierd comments like yours.

  • you went to school for all that stuff i work for a living

  • Comment removed

  • i didnt hear the song at all bet he can play

  • he ain't playin for the lord he playing for those camera phones in everyone's hands and the occassional oooh's and ahhh's coming from the crowd when he does something crazy. but what a talented musician he is. it was great to watch him do his thing.

  • He could be at the club, on tour, or in the studio but he's playing for the Lord on Sunday smashin...Everytime you play a SOLO, give God Your best praise even if people cant get with it....thats why its called a SOLO...

  • Bro keep playing!!!!!!!:) no matter what people say keep doing you!!! And keep letting God use you

  • Playing (showing off) for God or himself? Any educated musician, I have masters in music performance and taught at the university level for 8 years, can tell the difference. The man has talent, no doubt, if he's going to perform a sacred work , adding fancy flourishes and "extra notes" they should be related to the key the song is in!

  • @davlber221 -- I am not going to doubt your credentials, but you are the first credentialed musician (that I have heard) to indicate that you couldn't hear the actual song. With your music crendentials, you should know that creativity is the difference between those who simply play and those who interpret. I don't have your music credentials, but I did study it and this is one of the first points that was emphasized...

  • @davlber221 Also...look him up...The man is already doing a sacred work for God and God is confirming it by the impact this guy is having on so many lives. I've followed him from the time he was a kid winning classical competitions in this area through his days in college. According to the parable of the talents in St. Matthew 25, God gives every man talent "according to his ability"...With this God has bestowed tremendous talent on this guy because of his tremendous ability. It is what it is!!!

  • I guess the actual song "THE LORD'S PRAYER" was in all those arppegios, if it was I didn't hear it very often. This guy took a sacred solo work and turned it into a "show off" piece for himself. What a sad thing to do!

  • @davlber221 -- I get so tired of people talking about they don't hear the actual song when another musician plays...Whether you hear it or not depends on you music capability, not his ability to play it...I've had many years of music training and I hear the song perfectly well...You should increase you music knowledge and skill, maybe then it will become clear...It's just like in college, many people didn't get Hamlet... But this does not mean that Shakespeare did a bad job writing it!

  • Amazing!!

  • this guy is a beast!!! but you shoudn't loose the song. The medly was lost.

  • he got skills but its the lords prayer my dude.

  • i felt bad for the keyboard player..

  • 4:32-40 Check him! wow!

  • 4:32-35 the modulation and voicing of those chords are out of this world!

  • Now THAT is how you handle a Hammond Baby!!! Superb Performance Young Fella!!! Dazzling EVEN!!!

  • MR. RAZOR is a credit to His last name FOR EVERY PASSAGE I'VE BEEN CUT and I mean SHARPLY

  • @blackmoney37 wow youre just outta control dawg!

  • Dude in the corner got his mouth wide open from 0:05 to 0:19

  • This dude is nuts yo

  • Some people was like this dude needs to hurry up!

  • @Algodley you ain't lyin. I feel the same way. Ridiculously gifted dude.

  • he make me don't want to play no more

  • WHOA!!

  • I might be alittle late in this but personally as a musician i think his skills for beyond words. The ease in which he's able to play and use classical patterns is amazing. People on this forum who cant say positive or things for improvement (which in this case is none) should examine themselves and skill level to strive to be able to say negative things about people they see thru a video clip. HES GOOD keep playing.

  • fuck girls who needs girls when u can watch sometin this amazing

  • Ppl gone always be haters bro u a monster n a lot ppl cnt do half the stuff u doin so keep it up man u blessed bro

  • the keyboard was never played so mind explodingly complex as what I just heard. Incredible

  • Wow, He is Good, Keep pLaying for the Lord Man.

  • this dude and corey henry are the tops no joke!

  • @DDMRaww I agree tyhis is nice...@bonedaddyu - This is not prideful, this is skill. some people play at a higher skill level than others...what one considers showing off, others consider basic...He was at a musical, so music is what should be offered to God ...@blackmoney37...No one here is arrogant, just appreciate skilled musicians...always have and always will...your profanity is not called for and the correct spelling is "HUMILITY" so while read my bible, check your dictionary!!!

  • @guitarman100able point taken, and I must agree, his plaing skill is beyond my grasp.

  • NICE!!!

  • absolute ego, songs and music about praise and worship of our Lord God are for his glory, not ours.

Showing off for attention is prideful, he has been blessed with a gift, but there is a time and place, not in a time of worship.

  • @bonedaddyo He aint showin off. Get outta here with that repetitive bullshit. He's cold

  • @a6ty785u thankyou for proving my point with your profanity, in one sentence you have made yourself irrelevant.

  • @bonedaddyo I dont know where, but how can you say he's doing this for attention? I didnt hear anyone else in the church complaining.

  • @a6ty785u I agree. I had to stand up and hold myself. His interpretation was beyond my train of thought. He is very creative and way the hell out the box.

  • @ShaunSmith415 Right.

  • @BigLongJon21 I listen to this redention of the Lord's Prayer quite often and I am amazed at the comments of some who apparently have no musical intelligence. Saying you don't hear the Lord's prayer in this rendition is like looking at a book & saying I don't see what the writer is talking about. IT'S NOT THE WRITER'S FAULT IF YOU CAN'T READ JUST LIKE IT'S NOT THIS GUYS FAULT IF YOU DON'T HEAR THE COMPLICATED AND SOPHISTICATED MUSICAL SCORES! Maybe if you had a bit more training, you'd hear it.

  • Comment removed

  • could someone take the plug out of that Motif, dude can't hold still for 5 minutes...

  • wow omg he played dat organ...bless him Lord

  • what in Gods name is that guy laughing at????????

  • @robskeys LOL!

  • Make me wanna shout!! He must be Apostolic!! NIGGUH u BETTE PLAY BOI!!!!! Lmbo!

  • @guitarman100able Just think about it. When the ones that don't have the teaching they need and they are playing for the Lord, it's not noise to the Lord. Make sure you push those type of people to be a better musician and encourage them. I've been criticized & it wasn't constructive. It hurt me & I had the choice to continue to play for God or stop playing; I chose to play and God blessed me. (this was the rest of it.) Think on these things.

  • @DruPetty42 Teaching or Training is not the only way to obtain skill. Some of the most skilled musicians have never taken a class or had training. Don't equate skill with training. You probably are a very skilled musician. On the other hand, many trained musicians are not skilled. Anyone that criticizes you because you did not take classes or are learning should check their Christianity. The point should be, whatever we do in word or deed, do all in the name of Jesus and for the glory of GOD!

  • @guitarman100able I meant no harm in saying that I don't care if you're a bass player, I'm sorry. I said that b/c it doesn't matter what instrument you play, you're a musician. You may not care, but I'm a musician. You have to understand that even Leonard had to learn. He just has years of experience. Of course you'll display what God gives you.

  • @DruPetty42 No harm taken...Good conversation is always good. We can disagree on some things and still be Christian brothers/sisters...I've followed Lennard since he was young, he is the farthest person from being a show off or big headed. He is actually a young humble minister that has had classical training from an early age. He plays for many gospel artists and is now producing gospel artists...I understand that he was asked to do this that night so he improvised and added personal touches.

  • @DruPetty42 Lennard's been playing skillfully for a long time. He could be playing at some of the largest churches in America, but he supports his father's church where he is a minister and minister of music. I say this because his father's church is rather new and the membership is small, but Lennard has not been pulled away by the bright lights or money. A degree from a major university gives him options that allow him to dedicate his gift wholly to God and not chase dollar signs in church.

  • @DruPetty42 I say what I say not that I can speak for Lennard, his family or anyone else. It's just that this young man has impressed me since I saw him on a cable gospel music show when he was a kid. There are videos of that show posted(probably by a proud father). Search YouTube for Lennard Razor and Darryl Howell. From what I can tell, he is a well grounded young man that has his priorities in order.

  • @guitarman100able I understand. It was a humbling experience having this conversation. (In my eyes) I see that you are a serious Christian. (I wasn't testing you). I do have one more thing to say, (I don't know if you do this or not), but when it comes to musicians with less skill and less exp, don't shoot them down mentally, verbally, or anything like that. When you see one that needs help, if you can help, help him/her. They're doing all they know until they receive proper teaching.

  • I'm sorry to say this, but I don't hear The Lord's Prayer in all of this. The dude is good, but it's too much. When you put too much in a song, that takes away from it. I'm not impressed nor pleased. In my eyes, he looked like he was showing off.

  • @DruPetty42 I hear it and I don't play keys, I'm a bass player!!! But it's understandable that everyone don't hear it. I think ObserverMusic explains that in his/her post! Some people don't hear "rondo alla turca" when it is played and it's one of Mozart's most recognized pieces. Displaying skill is no more "showing off" as displaying a lack of skill, training, knowledge, and education is "not showing off". Some people just can't give others credit for a job well done. I view this video often!!!

  • @guitarman100able You're a bass player and honestly, not to be mean, but I don't care. I honestly don't care about what music pieces are put in a song. Even though some people don't hear -rondo alla turca-, it's probably because they don't listen to Mozart. I don't listen to him or any classical music because of the fact that it bores me and I drown it out without realizing it. Like I said, he's good but I feel that skill level isn't important to God. But if it's done for Him, that matters.

  • @DruPetty42 I believe that the skill level is important to God. Psalms 33:3 " play skilfully with a loud noise." I believe that the most skilled musicians should use their talent/gift in God's service. I'm sick and tired of unskilled musicians banging on instruments and saying that they are doing it for God. One of the lamest excuses I've heard is when a musician says "I didn't go to school, God taught me". The God I serve is skilled and can read music. But I hear you...To each his own.

  • @guitarman100able I got you, but there are musicians that don't have a lot of skill that are playing for the Lord. It's not an excuse when one says, "I didn't go to school, God taught me." The thing is, God gives ppl the gift so they can play; reading music is not a gift. One thing they may lack is exp. God taught me how to play. To say that the most skilled should use their talent/gift would not give others a chance to use their gift/talent. One day an unskilled musician may show you up.

  • LAWD HAVE MERCY!!! MAKE NO SENSE WHATSOEVER!!! LOVE IT!!!

  • Shop@ necktieshack on line

  • What planet is he from, again?

  • Amazing playing.......The sound comin out of this C3 is absolutely incredable. What Leslie is used for this organ, sounds like it is a either a fast/stop or a fast/stop/slow. I am guessing a 21H maybe???? The overdrive is amazing. Would like to do the same for my A100 and Leslie 251 but i am affraid I'd kill my speakers. lol

  • @Segs79 oops by the looks of it it might be a Leslie 22H. I can hear the delay before the rotors begin spinning. It is in the background behind the dude playin bass. Reguardless of what model it is, it sounds incredable, I think i have watched this video a hundred times in the last week, due to the sound of this organ.

  • corey henry. hands down. and i dare one of you idiots to say something about "musicians are to play for the Lord, no competition" SHUT UP. dont even come here wit that.

  • @navillust49 --Everyone has an opinion -- regardless of how ignorant it is-- As a knowledgeable, trained, and skilled musician, I think Lennard is one of the best out there now...You call the others "idiots"-- Does playing for the Lord and not competing make one an idiot--- I think not --- I like Lennard because he does not compete--his parent did a good job raising him -- He comes from a pretty solid family and has always had things, so flashing a few dollars in from of him does not excite him.

  • @navillust49 Corey henry good but he not better then razor homie

  • @advented88 okkkkk RAZOR BEEN RUNNIN THIS SINCE HE WAS LIkE 8yrs old playing pro

  • And he is doing it in E Fantastic. Very good.

  • Guitarman I totally agree with everything you said.Im so glad that I found this video on youtube.Ive been wanting to se it again and again. Its the greatest "reharmed" arrangement of the Lord's prayer that Ive ever heard.I wish that I could personally tell him that.I appreciate hearing musicians being able to use all of their musical elements at a very high level on a song (such as the one hear) and still keep the integrity of the melody and some of the original changes and still stretch out.

  • @PKJonesJr And don't get it twisted getting a comment from this brother right here is like a comment from Art Tatum or Oscar Peterson. Look at his videos. Phillip K Jones "The Truth" Phill you know what it is.

  • All I can say as long as GOD gets Glory there's it's all good. This guy has great command of the instrument that come's from talent and Practice in which he show's just like his name Razor sharp riffs and scales I love it how precise he is note on the note .GOD is GOOD!!

  • Uh, to y'all musicians standing around there like y'all in the "zone" or somethin' - Y'all FIRED, I mean FIRED - go push carts at Wal-Mart for a living! Don't come to my church clownin' like that, Dr. Razor, 'cuz u may get ME fired, and I will have to gig in the State Street Subway, with my little Casio and a bucket on the side for some change. Don't come to my church and put me out of a job!!! DON'T DO IT!!!
