It was a stealing of a baby by a dingo who's cloths were later found in a cave torn and covered in blood. The baby was obviously presumed dead and is not something you should laugh about.

Old take from a movie. In Austrailia some years ago a family was on a camping trip to Ayers Rock. A dingo went into a tent and ran off with a young infant. The mother discovered it and screamed the Dingo stole my baby. It was really quite sad as they blamed her for the murder of the infant.

It's been 31 years, 29 at the time the commercial was uploaded to Youtube! That is WAY past the sensible limit of time to make fun of a tragedy. In America we had people making 9/11 jokes before 10 year marker, and that was a VASTLY greater tragedy than "dingo ate my baby." Quit whining.

I respect the opinions of everybody but the way i see it is that if Lindy was messed up enough to kill her own baby then she would either be to scared or not smart enough to make such a complex lie and follow through with it, she felt responsable because she was the mother and supposed to take care of the baby, she was guilty of leaving the baby alone, not guilty that she killed her baby, it was a tragic event that should be put behind us, but i can't condone this commercial.

What I meant was that no one really knows whether she was innocent or not, the case in the end was thrown out due to lack of evidence, but she still got thrown in jail for 4 years due to the incompetence of the court. Of course I know this was a real case you idiots, otherwise we wouldn't have shot it.
