Thanks to Lawrence Forlong of Owhango fame who taught the AA Defensive Driving Course for me and others so many years ago. This is a great tribute to the King Country Fire and Rescue personnel. Thanks for being prepared to have your day interupted and training for rescuing folk from dangerous and life threating situations. Cheers to all.

I stopped counting the road accidents I have come across when travelling through the North Island.

Hopefully this visual presentation will encourage motorists to slow down.

Its quite frightening to beable to recognise most these incident sites, on roads frequently travelled. I celebrate over 25 years driving and staying alive, but not without close calls. A guy backed into my retired fire engine in McDonalds Wanganui carpark 2005. Another tailgated my L300 van in Victoria Ave 2001 and Glasgow St intersection and did a runner.
