My conclusions as derived from the above stats. NZ is the bomb-diggity by a long stretch and Ireland...well what can I say. Maybe the Irish test side should start playing the NZ U-20's side instead of the All Blacks?? Maybe they would be more competitive? Lol
To the Irish guy...nice to hear an opinion from the north that isn't of British or French origin...I see your point with England but I don't think they will make the final bcos they're to inconsistent...right now its looking like an nz vs aus final...% mean nothing if the samples aren't similar in size, pretty sure Ireland has a much larger population than nz...which would mean irelands youth player base wouldn't be that far off nz's... :D
@SammyKTA the all blacks lost against france in the autumn tours, they loose against all of those teams, new zealand are the most dominant force in rugby, i'm not saying that is going to change anytime soon, just saying the irish have been doing well and still havn't unlocked the full potential of the nation, need alot more schools to take up the sport, it's mostly down to rugby being seen as a "protestant sport" that there aren't more kids playing it.

So winning the world cup in rugby in not that big an achievement but it appears to elude New Zealand; even though you have academies that induct children into the game from an unhealthy age, you have a budget of millions that you pump into the game domestically.

Yep our children love to play rugby it's in our blood 6 and 7 year olds out thier playing ripper rugby in Nz while the same age children in Ireland are still sucking on mumma titty. And it shows when your boys turn up to play a man's game.

@bustyboy123 haha george gregan is their most capped player and has been an integral part of australia from 1990 to 2007. he was vice captain and captain. he won the world cup in 1999 and lead them to the final in 2003

@Stinso93 alright good point rugby is a team game. but he was a integral part of the team along with tiquiri and sailor. the all blacks lost in 2003 because of spencers pass. dark skinned guys like mils were great in that match. lomu was the guy who kept his cool and helped his team most in 1999 semi final against france scoring two awesome tries. he was good in the 1995 final as well. 2007 quarter final so'oialo scored the all blacks try whereas mcalister (white) was sent off
