  • there was no british Hip Hop untill Silver Bullet blasted onto the scene...

british music could stand on its own feet, without Yanky crap..The urban underground sounds of England blasted onto the scene and grew to the RnB, Garage and DnB we know and take for granted.. but back then we were pioneers raving to this stuff! i know i was laughed at plenty!

  • *cold ... f$#king hell

  • Remind me again - why couldn't UK hip-hop artists get any respect at the time?

  • 1990 The Summer of Love. Yeah I read it here, I lived it 21 years ago.

  • Loved my Hacienda days !!!!

  • what a tune...

  • 17 seconds longer than i'd give. Comply or die, lol!

  • oh yes i remember kaning this tune back in the day...hammered it so much that i inspired my brother to upload it on here., and what a responce it has got. Still sound as good today as it did back then!

  • GIVE ME A DUB PLATE SO I CAN MASH DEM DOWN.

  • Classic !

  • An "ORIGINAL" Dark Heart of Rap spitting with the required fury.Other Artists of today will evolve from Masters like this so we need that so rap lives on and on evolving into the apocalypse when there may only be 20 seconds to "SURVIVE" Dope to throw down on plastic....musik of my era...REESPEC

  • Fucking awesome! I remember watching this on TOTP and thinking WTF?!! This ranks way above most Hip-Hop back then and most definitely now........when the UK produced good shit, they produced GOOD shit!

  • @scumfuc2000 those were the good old days my friend when music was untimely and bareable now a days i cant turn the radio on without turning it off within 2 minutes now adays good music is rare to find

  • You have 2 seconds to comply... KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • Public E No1, LLcoolj,MCTunes,Silver Bullet, i am havin one top night listen to the music of my youth, you cant fool the children of the revolution!(babyFord) 1990 was the best!Acid House Happy Mondays Stone roses the list is endless , god i wish i was sixteen again!

  • @tyldesley2010 Live in the Here & Now. Fuck the past. Fuck being 16. Be you now. OK?

  • @tyldesley2010 i agree, the best days of my life.

  • @tyldesley2010 +1 to all that, just missed out NWA. Think i bought this album on cd in about '91 well under rated. Public Enemy used to do some cool picture discs, curse my mum for binning all my records after i left home. Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, Donny Warehouse, Hacienda.....drops to knees, awesomeness at its peak. I thought Ian Brown's first album was weird at first after he got released but it soon grew on me to be an all time fav album too.

  • @tyldesley2010 What have You done since? "children of the revolution" is actually some T-Rex song, so did You get a bit fooled by not knowing the popular music history? "You gotta learn sometime"? ;) Not to say I listened to everything You listed... :D No, Straight Outta Compton? F ya! :D

  • @sjtToo I did say Baby Ford's version of that song, and to be honest i have'nt done much since, ho! apart from start a family buy a house so" Mommers gunna knock you out!" "Bitch"

  • @tyldesley2010 I hear ya man!!!!!

  • @tyldesley2010 dude i am sixteen now and i'm left toking to the classic 90's dnb with a few select individuals, whilst the rest of my generation immerse themselves in over-produced 'new dubstep' and even worse the fucking charts. God help Great Britain, and don't even get me started on the politics.

  • @00utub00 same here execpt am 22

  • @00utub00 check out the film- the esoteric agenda and kymatica,, both on here! also, thehiddenrecordsdotcom

trust me mate, i was where your at, it done my head in!! n then a mate told me to look into something, pretty much as i'm doing with you, i went through the 'fear' and rose above it.. "none but ourselves can free our mind"- bob marley. keep an open mind and fookin Love it! there is no good there is no bad, only experience! lives and learns!; )

  • Brit hop '89. Tinee tempah et al take note, and fuck off.

  • @darthwards grime is different to 'brit hop', plus if you new anything about grime you would know lots of people who actually follow grime hate the pop shit and who tinie tempa has become

  • @booshpower brit hop predates grime by nearly 20 years, so fuck off you retard.

  • @darthwards and your point is what - it predates it so it makes it better? nice logic dickhead
