Also, to fix some very ignorant errors

1) Drums aren't programmed.

2) 1000bmp? Get a clue - this isn't even 250, there are much faster death metal bands (see: Orichdectomy, The Berzerker)

3) The reason you can't get your head around the 'mindless chugs' is because the guitars are used as a percussive instrument as opposed to a melodic one as used in regular death metal. Enmity break barriers and play way more abstract than you can get your pop-rock head round.

4) Gojira is fucking awful

Hey fatrat, im more into death metal. my favorite bands are suffocation decrepit birth cannibal corpse etc. but i do like the guttural brutal death metal stuff, even though its a simplier type of dm... like cephalotripsy, condmned(recommend)...i hate fake drums though. but you're right this band is awful id rather listen to limp bizkit haha the riffs are gay.

You know nothing about brutality in music. Incantation is brutal. Kreator is brutal. Crimson Thorn is brutal. Dying Fetus is brutal. Fleshgore is brutal. Gorgasm is brutal. Suffocation is brutal. Nile is brutal. Immolation is brutal. Prostitute Disfigurement is brutal. Akercocke is brutal. Infester is by far more brutal then Enmity could hope to be. Enmity is not brutal. You're not "brutal" or "badass" because you listen to some shitty band.

actualy, i do know abt brutality in music. ive listened to d.m. for 10+ yrs. im not saying those bands u listed arent brutal. they are. but i hav respect for a band like Enmity b/c they push the limits of brutality. unlike the majority of d.m. bands that r content fitting in, and sounding like every1 else. this mentality is going to ruin dm, that its ok to be a standard,mediocre band,just as long as u fit the status quo. Enmity play as brutal as humanly possible,and for that i think they rule.

I have heard something like that done before. The albums Devlab and Hummer are ambient album done by the heavy metal musician Devin Townsend and both of them are very good albums. A hell of a lot better then Enmity.
