i don't think it could be RHCP without Anthony. i love his singin as well as his personality. and i love every album from the first one to Stadium Arcadium. they are all so different and unique. they have definitely calmed down. Blood Sugar Sex Magik was my favorite album but they aren't gonna do anythin like that again. they've just grown up. they are no longer wild young musicians. and that's ok cause they're still writin great music in my opinion.

hahaha. yes, you're very right. back before bssm, they were really free, and they were poor as shit. when you're starving and just trying to survive while working your ass off, you write better songs. look at metallica. their old shit's much better than their new stuff. to me, anyway. once you have nothing to work for, other than making music, you get less motivated, and you have less raw energy and angst in you, because you've probably become what you've rebelled against from the beginning. :D
