Could you explain me how you did that first trick? That you end up on the second hanging thing? I know already you have to hold under and right button to get her into that position but she falls out directly.
hey man you could have saved yourself atleast 1 more sec or maybe 2 had you have been rolling over and starting to run when the cutscene is going on at 36 secs.
You have to run the game from your lowest letter CD/DVD drive. A lot of old games have this problem. If you're using a virtual drive and the lowest available letter (probably D) is already taken, change your physical drive to something else.

@tristin1990 If I do a backflip followed by roll, the jump to the awning will take longer, so I'm pretty sure that rolling is the fastest way.
