how do you call to the stand the prosecutor? Or whomever represents the people or the state? If all there is a couple cops, who answers for the state? What do you do about misconduct.

Please, do more videos when you have time available. One question that I have relates to how often does an accused person accepts a plea agreement and is this agreement considered a conviction. I'm charged with 16 misdemeanor charges related to running unapproved background checks on subjects on the job as a corrections officer.
No, the pretrial date is usually the second or third hearing. It's generally where the prosecutor makes an offer, and some discovery (evidence) issues can be discussed. As far as how much time a 17 year old is facing, it depends on 1) whether they're in adult or juvenile court; 2) whether the kid has a criminal history; and 3) whether there are aggravating or mitigating factors.
