What if the muscles of your lower back and sprained strecthing like this makes the lower back muscles strain even more. This actually made my lower back hurt more and I felt nerves shooting like mini bolts of lightning all over my body including my wrisit for 2 days straight.

Dr. WIley, I am curious if you think it might be easier for most to maintain the arm position with the arms on a wall while performing the movement. Also since the motion only flexes the posterior spine, what might you recommend for an anterior spinal extension in conjunction with this demo?
Can you suggest if this exercise will help in reducing spondylitis pain

Why 9 times? How did you come up with that? As opposed to 5 times? Or 6, 7, or 8?
