look at your numblock. 236 = qcf. 5 = neutral. this notation is used because it is international, both japanese and non-japanese players can easily understand it without the need for translations.

@AtTheGates interesting notation. I always would plan out the combos like attack 1, attack 2, attack 3 and stand. But when you explain it like that it makes sense. I take it A, B and C stand for the attack buttons right?

entweder mame mit cheats oder FBA mit cheats für unendlich leben, zeit und super bar - weiß es nicht mehr. glaube, das hatte ich mit mame aufgenommen, 60fps, damits flüssig läuft - bei 30 bugged das ja rum.

yeah, that only happens if you do the combo as fast as possible. more often than not, the knives will be gone.

I have the psx version, the instruction manual doesn't teach everything. Is this face grab move a Dreamcast exclusive move?

the ps1 version has missing moves and is generally very crippled (missing animations etc).

this is the arcade / dreamcast version, which is almost identical.

Ah good to know. I debated on whether to get the PS version or the DC version but I'm pretty happy with the PS version even if it is missing some animations and colours. The adventure game is really fun but the depth of the fighting seems to have been toned down in comparison.

The PlayStation version is awesome and an amazing effort on Capcom's part, considering it's the only CPS-3 game to have been ported to a system as weak as the PlayStation. Even though some frames and animations are missing, the game still looks beautiful, most of the missing frames are hardly noticeable, and the Super Story mode is just awesome.

Having played both, I think you made a good choice to get the PlayStation version, although the Dreamcast version is a good game in it's own right.
