  • Thanks so much for posting these movements using the arc.; I am determined to develop strength and extension in my thoracic spine (for ballet), and it is not easy to find effective, safe ways of stretching for this. I tried using the arc on the reformer today and it felt just wonderful. Also did the side-lying variation with the arc/reformer. I think if I continue with these several x weekly, I will see improvements in upper body stability. Really enjoy your informative videos; thanks again!

  • @pasdebourree Thanks for the thanks - we love hearing that people find the podcasts informative and helpful!

  • which spring do u have on? 1 blue?

  • @alottapilatta I recommend that you start the exercise sequence with 1 blue spring. This moderate resistance will cause less compression in the shoulders, arms and spine than 1 red spring. If you are comfortable with the control and range of motion required by these movements using one blue spring you may progress to one red spring, The heavier spring will provide more assistance at the same time that it creates more compression.
