  • Marsalis for me is the best trompetist of the world, I have one autograph in my cd, its went in December 2000 Ibirapuera Park in Brazil with Lincol Center Jazz Orchestra and I have one photo with Marsalis, I Liked so much embrance and shake hands. Thank you very much Marsalis.

  • A beautifully -- and entertainingly! -- tied together introductory explanation of the origins of Jazz and what Jazz and other music (in this case, Jazz's closest cousin, the Souza march, was spotlighted) have in common. More and more of this kind of thing is needed, to help illuminate and clarify Jazz's place in American and world heritage. Thank you Wynton and mrtntnmn!
