I have one myself. I'd say about a 2 on the pressure scale. It's only attached by a small spring loaded mechanism. Until you squeeze down on it, for all means and purposes it ain't goin' anywhere. I've had near over 450 lbs on it for bench and well more than that for squats.

How much pressure do you need to apply
when squeezing the bar ?
Is it hard or easy from 1-10 being really hard .
Also , how far apart is the bar from the barbell 1 inch 2 or 3 ?
