very good job dude.. it aint easy trying to sing brandan boyd.. my only advice for you is to learn how to switch registers, you are bringing your chestvoice up for the higher notes.. your voice goes from chest voice to a passagio to your mixed voice and that should be a less basey part of your voice but great job man

No, The position that you take to hold the violin pushes on the throat, you really can't sing unless you take distance from the violin, but then you can't play well.
