Bush's policies not only failed, but his legal team was actively dismantling your country, and McCain was going to continue the same policies. Interesting that Repubs say they're pro-America when Bush wanted to break laws by keeping troops in the US to break in homes, kill civilians or imprison them indefinitely, suspend free speech & freedom of the press, etc. A McCain presidency would have been an extension of that, and a Palin presidency would finish the job.
McCain lost his own election, in part by allowing the religious right and neocons to affect what he stood for in previous elections & in part by taking on Palin as his running mate. That said, McCain may have been a hero in the prison camp, but on the outside, he schmoozed with murdering dictators and corrupt bankers, consorted with hookers, & verbally abused women. He consistently voted against veterans and wanted to use Iraq-style tactics on American neighborhoods (martial law) to fight crime.
John McCain it was an honor to vote for you, I've never felt more passionate in a canidate you represent everything a true American should. Thank you!!!
My contribution to the McCain Campaign at this point is the following frase to be exploited: OBAMA-BIDEN-LADEN (OSAMA-BIN-LADEN. To put it out there and spread out throughout the country.
Lol, Ted Kennedy already made that gaffe on the Senate floor, so his error is a matter of public record. Making fun of someone's name is pretty juvenile anyways.
Good interviews and commentary Ms. Couric. One thing though, and I would hope that whoever cut this piece together would know this since I learned it in high school filmmaking class. Turning the background to red each time someone was introduced will cause subconscious negative feelings toward whoever is pictured. It's a common technique directors like George Lucas use. Every time Darth Vader was on the screen the background was red, then Skywalker shows up and the background is blue.
where i live, like the only campaign ads I've seen so far on tv are from obama and there's waaaaaaay too many of them, I'm sick of seeing his stupid face and so is everyone else i know.
Lol, McCain is farther away from Bush than either of the Clintons. Hint for the future: if something sounds smart or clever to you it's probably untrue.
McCain has split from the Republican party on numerous occasions and worked with many Democrats. It's the issues that he risked the ire of his party on that define him and should give a good indication of whether or not he's the candidate for you. Never take ANY politician's word at face value when election time comes around.
Lol, saying it again won't make it true. Remember the McCain/Feingold and Kennedy/McCain bills? Surely you've heard McCain announce his intention to close Gitmo as one of his first acts as president? If he's never crossed party lines why are conservative blogs roasting him?
Lol, any blogs that roast him are doing so bc he is a loser sort of person. U of course haven't seen any utubes that show how obviously he is the same. the young terks, and other videos. Don't watch them. I don't want to hurt your feelings.
Lol, thanks for pointing me towards the young turks totally partisan website. When talking about foreign policy experience they focus on McCain's military service and discount it but totally ignore his 20 years of experience debating issues in the senate. Then they tell you that Obama has great experience because he was against the war in Iraq. Obama never voted against the war because he never cast a vote at all regarding the war. (The NV column on the senate website means "no vote"). Silly.
Lol, lol, lol. Vote for Barack. Did you see IOUSA? 8.4 trillion dollars of debt that the US owes, thanks to Bush. There are consequences for irresponsible behavior, you know.
Most of the debt was inherited from Clinton, who inherited it from Bush SR., and so on. I can't see how voting for Obama will reduce the deficit. If you look at all the promises on his campaign site you'll see that they'll all cost more money. He even wants to expand the military by 92,000 troops. Your post doesn't make much sense, jerrydoubleu, were you joking?
Clinton had money left over--You're mistaken in your statement. Your friends like Cheney, Rummy have outsourced the military as another method to transfer wealth. Obama wants people to partake in public service, unlike all the kids of politicians who avoided service in the Iraq war.
Nope, you're mistaken on that. Clinton increased the national debt an average of 4.3%per year while in office, about average as presidents go. Why do you think I'm a Republican? I'm just trying to cut through the bullshit before deciding who I want to vote for. By the way, anyone's kids can avoid serving in the war nowadays by not enlisting in the military; as long as the democrats don't manage to get one of their proposals to reinstate the draft passed.
Look, oooooo, I've learned never to expect the most emotionally crippled, stoic conservative to access their heart or thier made-up minds. It's a waste of time. Please keep in touch after Obama wins.
I'm more of a moderate than a conservative. I'd just rather base my decisions on knowing rather than feeling. I do find it amusing when people start flinging insults when they're proven wrong. Weak, very weak.
So you admit to a stoic approach. and it's ironic that you label people weak while at the same time saying it's weak to fling insults. Like an abusive husband, or a closeted gay, u want your cake and to eat it too. Weak, man, weak.
McCain was a good man, but he ran at a bad time and when he was too old. I can't to vote in 2012.

You should go the "hot dog stand" (Pronto Pup) McCain visited in Grand Haven, Michigan. It is a delicious, local legend.
