Its necessary to have some sort of additional effects to further impact the creativity and appeal of the Machinima for the Viewers. We also haven't been introduced to any Voice Actors' Roles or any story direction. This is a trailer, trailers are supposed to tease a story to attract the viewers. All I see is too groups fighting each other but that's it. I don't know who's who and why I should follow both sides.

I'm new to filming and directing, so don't expect anything big from this because this is for the people and my amusment. If a couple or more people don't like it, too bad. We all have to start somewhere, that is true but we may only exceed our potential if we as Directors are willing to listen to the constructive criticisms the audiences have to offer.
I produce Machinima for the same reason as you do but I want them to truly enjoy it without the risk of cliches or errors.
This is alright. First-Person-View Shots really don't look convincing and make me feel as if I'm watching a role-play session on Halo: Reach rather then a realistic war-scenario. Some of the green-dudes act like morons as seen 0:51 - 0:57. They literally walk into the turrets...
Finally, there isn't a good use of VFX at moments where there could have been such as 0:12 - 0:14. You haven't added any custom or additional lighting effects. Halo: Reach VFX Effects don't count.
