The consistency of visual effects as regards hues and textures makes the viewing seamless; the interpolation of Sam over news footage almost seems organic, as if not an composed element. The images selected are gripping. The flaming NO WAR was a very creative and effective idea -- most impressive because it's not over used. This video is the best of the videos that use news footage to illustrate the song. Excellent work!

If you understood me properly, then you would have connected my response to you saying I seem to have made another choice. I said that the rest of theworld has and mostly does makethe same choice. The choice has continued to be made now days, only on a much smaller scale. With the gun pointed at the head of the world(nuclear weaponry) Nations only steal small chunks of land from one another...

Um, yep. I have an understanding of the world. I don't see how I missed your point because I was addressing your apparent attitude when you write, "...sing this song to al queda...". It seemed cynical to me (and others, judging from the number of "thumbs down"it received). Sometimes the idea/intention of peace, and the effort to achieve peace, can be just as important. My intentions are not to criticize you, but to suggest that there is possibly another way to look at it. Of course the people here, making videos, knows that those people (al queda and the like) exist. That is, to me,the point of the song and video contest. In that sense, your seemingly cynical comment seemed unnecessary in that we know these things. Thanks again.

So you came on a clicked "thumbs down" both times you came on to respond so what? I could do the same. And it isn't just my attitude, Al Queda is a bunch of hijackers of the Islmaic faith who say everone who hasen't converted to the religion they stole, is an infidel. They go on to say that all infidels must be killed, and to kill and infidel is not murder. An end to war would be nice, but with so many violent fanatics in the world, it ain't happening very soon...

You say it as though people kill only in the name of christianity. Well those tyrants who use christianity as an excuse to conquer, maim and kill, are NOT christians. By the way, plenty of wars have been waged in the name of Islam, Judea, and even buddhism. Godless infidels also wage wars, often for personal gain, instead of the alledged will of god. Trying isn't doing when half of the world is going after the other halves' ass.

No, I absolutely do NOT say it as though only Christians kill in the name of religion. That was a conclusion you made on your own. Quoting Jesus was to make the point opposite of that. You should review world history. Christianity is responsible for many more wars, even to this day (Ireland). SO, why do we focus so much on Islam? Perhaps race and culture are also factors. Maybe not for you, but it is for many. Again, the effort to achieve peace can be just as important as achieving it. So...

The exploding statue at 3:01 and the immediate following clip with associated lyrics strike me as perfect to include in a music video preview/trailer/teaser if needed. Seamless and striking.

WOW artistically this is so well done. What program did you use? I love the shaking effect to give movement in some of the scenes, it doesn't just feel just like a background like some of the other videos.

I haven't watched more than a few vid submissions for the contest, but WOW ... I'm blown away. As if Sam's song wasn't moving enough, your imagery (& superior editing) compounded the message. Great synergy! VERY nice work.

Your video has superior quality to the other videos posted thus far. The fire scene with Sam singing turned what would otherwise have been an average video into one that will be remembered. I also see that you hold the same ideas as most people who have posted videos in this contest. Why do you feel that we need to see clips of dead people? This part of the song just pulled the rug from under my feet. I thought this downgraded the professionalism that the rest of the video portrayed.

This is by far the best video for "War on War" that I have seen so far. The editing was very well done, clips well placed, song clips matched when you showed Sam singing (a lot of the videos are way off on this one and it really bugs me).

I love the 'No War' shots.

So far this video has impressed me the most. The images connected to the song were truly moving. I still can't listen to Sam singing this without getting emotional about it. The thought and talent going into many of the video submissions does prove that true Americans are disgusted over this LIE.

As someone who works for one of the major broadcast news networks, I can see all of the effort and work gone into the editing, special effects, timing and clip gathering. The blurs to show depth, the shake transitions and rotoscoping are of an unusually high caliber. Having looked over all entries to date, it is difficult to see how you wouldn't be considered the top video. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more of your work featured in prominent places in the future.

Excellent! I see contrasts blended between SH and background video. Video throughout (not stills).

(After editing my own) I further see the huge amount of time you have taken to do the best video to date in my opinion. If there were to be a selection made today, this would have to be it!
