  • é o mestre mas arte ...

  • Wish I could hear what he's trying to teach... :/

  • All I want to know is when Sensei Shabazz is coming to LA.

  • @11BMark Sensei Shabazz can be reached at 240-441-0191 to discuss travel and seminars.

  • KOOL, FROM REDDRAG1.RED-DRAGON-BOXING-MASTER BRYANT WILLIAMS. COLUMBUS OHIO,

  • 7:53 "The bear has changed the game... and bears don't play."

Haha, that's great! Sensei Shabazz seems like a fun guy. I'd love to visit his dojo if I'm ever in his area.

  • very good vidio on how to do the tactics-i will be reviwing more s time goes by and adding to my tool box-i am a advacate of cross training in other styles-i guess mine is now like vegtable soup-everything is mixed in and tastes good-respectfully oldsgtmajusmc

  • Very reminiscent of the great Moses Powell...has Master Shabazz evolved from that lineage. The best words of the piece" If you have five solid techniques...wisdom"I am a practitioner of Tai Chi(yes, the art of defending yourself against old ladies attacking you with handbags in slow motion...yeah!0 magic word mentioned by Master Shabazz...Root!0 Best wishes to all!

  • Are your video lessons more in depth than this? Because i would definitely pay for higher quality.

  • @shishiromura yes the instructional videos give more in depth lessons.

  • great video very informative

    i learn better watching

    better than over theorizing

  • Holy crap..thats cool. 1:40

  • Outstanding!

  • ninjutsu is all about survival say if u run into a mugger you give him your wallet and he still attacks that when ninjutsu comes into effect its all about self preservation

  • Thanks :D

  • You look familiar and I think You and my teacher might know each other . Master Yusef Ali Abdullah .Am i correct? good stuff. nice to meet you.

  • i think i will really love to learn this along with what i am now learning at the purple dragon school

  • Love the shoes!! :-)

  • I think he has wisedom. There is a saying "I am not worried about the 1,000 techniques you've done once but the 1 technique you've done 1,000 times." Iro iro no waza no renshu oshimasu. Osu

    Thanks for video

  • theres a time and place to fight, someone threatens your life, you gotta survive.

  • @Venturi01 You can survive in a wheel chair, I would rather win.

  • Very nice and smooth techniques

  • Looks great for high punches and high-cross punches. What about verse low jabs, uppercuts or low kicks?

  • Very cool ,but sad that i can´t find this in my region of germany. Here you can find the roots of aikido.

  • @shizensamurai

Those who can't do... Bitch on Youtube. lol

  • Those that can't do, teach. Sure you can go from nikkio, to sankio, to iriminage, bla bla bla. But y? Too complicated. Use one or two simple take down techniques, no need to go from technique to technique, even though u could. As an expert in aikijutsu and kenjutsu, this guy is good, but if he starts playing around with multiple attackers armed with weapons, or couple of true samurai, I feel sorry for him. He needs to be more efficient, like me or Steven Seagal.

  • @shizensamurai Arrogance is unbecoming of a true warrior... especially one who bears the name of samurai. Humility is a key part of bushido. You would do well to meditate on this.

  • you make a good point, but to give him some benefit of doubt, if he is teaching the same art established by Richard Beherens, then the wasted movements are because the camera is on. (Mas. Beherens prefers their techniques remain "in the family")

  • @shizensamurai What do you mean by takedowns? Do you mean throws? If you ask me i rather do a limb destruction. Or something from Freedmans Method jiujitsu everything the guy teaches is a break or something its nasty. So is FMA elbows, punches, and targeting the weak spots

  • @shizensamurai he is teaching because he is good. he wants to share his knowledge. i doubt that if he was in a real fight he would waste any movement. if you disagree with him, perhaps you should look to the parts you do admire and pay attention to them rather than comment on youtube about what you dont agree with. I respect your point as your opinion, but it is quite flawed.

  • Excellent, Sensei. Thank you SuubUrban, for sharing. Very informative.

  • Thank you Sensei Shabazz for you knowledge and wisdom that you have shared with this video.

    I also teach Aikijitsu.

  • Some of the best instruction I've seen on Youtube. Great techniques, and also great explanations of concepts.

I would certainly love to train with Sensei Shabazz.

  • ush! this comment is for sleepy fat finger. no matter what the martial art delivery system of strike may be, u can shut a persons body down with one shot. the pia nerve system does not change because of the art. a punch to the temple or heel palm to the temple will have the same disipline. MASTER MOSES POWELL LIVES FOREVER.777!!!

  • @moorishjitsu if you ever tried to take somebody down with one shot in real life, you'd know that, besides the exceptions, it doesnt work out like you would think it would. Never go into a fight thinking you have the master techniques that will put anybody down.

  • Amazing video was wondering if there is any dojo you no of in melbourne Australia that teaches the same or similar thank you

  • I dont know of any dojos in Australia, but if you cant find any. We offer an online distance learning course. Just go to our channel and click the link to our website. On the website go to the online classes page and become a member. Membership free, all you pay for is the videos lessons.

  • In reply to your question looking for something similar. If you dont find aikijutsu nearby you could try aikido. I practice Tomiki/Shodokan and find that it teaches the necessary elements and principles to construct techniques like this. hope this is helpful

  • @HiddenTiger89 There's one in Fitzroy mate, Bujinkan style as well, im about to go check it out myself!

  • Nice!

  • Very good Sensei Shabazz. As a Kenpo and Kajukenbo practioner since 1996, I found you to be very informative. I enjoyed your teaching style. Thank you.

  • Beautiful stuff, Sensei Shabozz rocks!

  • wow i got allot out of this increadible thnx :)

  • AWESOME! Thanks for posting!

  • this is about the best representation of aikijutsu/ aiki jiu jiust I have seen on youtube!

it shows the principal technique, and then it shows how that is only a base for a thousand variations, which is what most people misunderstand.

also the philosofy of getting it right the first seconds, so there is no fight is spot on.

    great video, osu

  • this is a great video

    salaam-

  • That was fantastic, thank you for sharing. I love his talk on principles being more important than specific technique. Knowing how to lock a joint, or how to break an opponents center for a take-down or throw opens the doors to an infinite number of possibilities.

We teach our students 10 - 15 techniques from each category (escapes, locks, throws, ground-fighting, ect), then stress principle and variation.

    Kudos. Thanks again

  • Excellent techniques. It it all starts with a simple block. He's right... that's not fighting.

Using this technique... the fight is over before it began.

    Shabazz... You the man!

  • i find aikido really good to enhance Chi,on street level though Aikijutsu sorts the men from the fools,it shocks attackers&frightens em,honestly.you only get a fight every three or four years&I'm a right mouthy pacifist ;-)

  • or you don't get in a fight at all.

  • well sometimes a person wants to get your money. They will attack, you must protct yourself. Thats what martial arts is...

  • duhhh criminals seldom attack, they do not want to fight they want to overwhelm you with over the top violence if you're stupid enough not to give your wallet for example...martial arts is not self defense it's fighting....good luck in a court of law

  • Martial arts is also self defense. And if everyone takes this "give up your wallet and property" mind set, then criminals will have the run of the place. Its time people take a stand. Of course be smart about it though. Id rather have that good luck in court then a good funeral, how about you?

  • I'm with you on this, I'd rather be in court for killing or nearly killing some street thug, than be in a pine box. What trailedge doesn't understand, is that these punks are just as likely to kill you or hurt you even if you give them what they want. I've been on the wrong end of a gun before, and the filthy little bastard almost shot me. I broke his hand and tore his finger off with the trigger guard of the gun. I went to court, and won, he is doing 15 years for attempted murder.

  • @trailedge lol i agree with you 100%

innorway if its illegal to atack an atacker or use wepons fire wepons.

the funny thing is people who say self deffence they are refering to violence and fighting

self deffence should be deffence not atack...

    krav magaisnot self deffence

  • @trailedge The attacker in all situations will rig things so whatever you do it will be the worst possible action, be careful about how you grab you wallet or face those being accused of drawing a weapon. This will in some situations actually escalate things.

  • What form of Aikijitsu is this? Its really nice!

  • How much would it cost to get Mr. Shabazz to Cali

  • classical japanese wisdom:

    Don't fight. Win.

  • I agree, but since true martial arts is not a sport, it would be:

    Don't fight PREVAIL ;)

  • I wish I had the privilege and honor to study with Sensei Shabazz, Sensei Karim and Sensei Lewis

  • Comment removed

  • Indeed the jaw is a knock out zone but I fail to see how you could generate enough power to knock them out from the angle that this shows.

Not knocking what he's saying but I think it is important to point out that those blows are merely for stun factor as you capture the arm and do the real damaging moves.

    *Thumbs up for this vid*

  • its call cultivating your chi and striking a pressure point.

  • He said "it is a knock out area" it is...referred to in boxing as the button. Rarely in boxing do you see a one punch knock out. It is a series of blows that accumulate to the knock out. Notice he strikes the same spot 4 times and the last was a knee strike to the chin, while still maintaining control of the attacker with an armbar lock.

  • VERY good. Thank you for posting that. Big respect to Sensei Shabazz.

  • sensei shabazz is really helpful, does anyone know wether or not hes under the ronald duncan system, or did he train outside of it?

  • outside

  • The sensei is superb.

  • An item referred to as a set, inside of Yang Style Tai Chi, is to smooth out the transitions between moves. The two person practice is to reveal major-defects in techniques, plenty of Tai Chi groups have both aquired majorly-defective techniques and refusal to practice push-hands. That practice shown in this video does reveal a commitment to refusing to spread defective-techniques. My knowlage of Tai Chi is from classes, that news about the need for a solid grounding is true.

  • Very well explained. Looks very interesting, nothing wrong.

  • This was really good

    appreciate you posting it

haha nice uki work to loll, walk it off haha

  • Good Stuff

  • Is very good...

  • This was some great video, I have seen you both on youtube separately this is great to see people becoming connected.

    Peace be with you always.

  • Good Technique, Excellent, Osu!

  • Shabazz rocks!

  • It is spelled Ninjutsu, not Ninjitsu.

  • In english, it can be spelled either way. Since japanese has a totally different character alphabet.

  • do you do ninjitsu?

  • Who did this fellow train under?

  • Why do you want to know??

  • Who knows why he wanted to know.

    He trained under Jahad Shabazz

  • I was curious in what form of Aikijitsu sensei Shabazz does, since there are many forms. This form specifically is really cool.

  • Well it's certainly not classical Aikijujutsu. These are all gendai styles of Jujutsu...I see no Kata. These are all Prof Duncan students, a nice guy, but a known liar in the MA world.

  • Sorry but you dont know what your talking about. 1st off Master Shabazz is not a student of Prof. Duncan. Didnt you read the title "Aikijujitsu VISITS" the ninjutsu martial arts school. This man is from another style and came as a guest to teach. Next , Prof Duncan is respected and acknowledge as a martial arts expert and has been for many years. He has numerous awards and accolades from his work in the martial arts. So you are the one , who is the liar.

  • You need to show some respect, your wrong and misinformed in your information, how many other things are you wrong about. It exposes you, you speak from ignorance and emotional hubris.

  • He is correct this is not a classical style. He is incorrect that Ali Shabazz is a student of Prof. Duncan. I have trained with Sensei Ali Shabazz for 12 years and left a classical style to do so. I have no regrets. I have also driven up to Jamaica Queens, NY and participated in training with Prof. Duncan. I left with more knowledge. Is he a liar? I have no idea. Is he a skilled practitioner and teacher? Absolutely!

  • i was skeptical about this jutsu

  • Looking good keep up the good work brothers

  • bad ass

  • i like the part about the bear lol

  • yeah, the bear monologue was funny

  • Beautiful!

  • that was fantastic 5 stars for sure.
