  • fuck up! this is The Who song! not Elton John cover~!

  • @AbsoluteZeroMusic You, man are a true genius!!! Go pink floyd!!!!

  • No-one should have their bass that loud and not be Entwistle

  • the elton john version is weird

  • Wait, what? Elton John covered this?

  • @SDCParrot

He played the roll of the pinball wizard in their movie Tommy

  • Living rock Gods.

  • The who rock

  • the who's are under Sir Elton !

  • vive les who's !!!!!

  • @microphalec Sorry, meant to say he sang Pinball Wizard. But thanks for being a total fuck about it.

  • Elton John was the Pinball Wizard in the movie.

  • @betdafarm Tommy was the pinball wizard, you prat.

  • Love that DW drumkit :-)

  • I love the who, But damn look at the noses!

  • lol:??? its ringo starr son on the drums?

  • lol

    impossible thats not john

  • @brurucy That's totally him. Look again.

  • @brurucy That's definitely him mang

  • @supowit

it seems that you have either left your brain where ever you were last or your computer has a virus. well you do have the right to an opinion no matter how moronic the opinion is. however the fact of the matter is you need to clean your ears saying daltrey sucks your'e pathetic

  • @atgskater14

Daltrey has the pitch accuracy of a 800 year old oboe, and the voice quality of Harry Carey.

  • @supowit

and clearly you have the hearing of pete townshend

  • @atgskater14

Pete Townsend is the man... not much of a singer, but creative as hell. And certainly not much for choosing a front man. The WHO was awesome IN SPITE of Daltrey, not because of him.

  • @supowit

Pete is awesome in this concert daltrey does not sound that good but normaly he does. kinda hard to be a who fan if you don't like every one in the group

  • no offence to the who but this is just not right.you need keith and ox to structure the song, the drums are far too fast, but still its a great song!

  • @TheManIsMyself

john is in there however moon the loon is not sadly

  • The Guy who's with the bass sucks :( i miss the old who.. the new SUCKS.

  • @brurucy

    sucks??

    dude, thats John Entwhistle!

how can u say he sucks!!!!

  • is ringo's son in the drums?

  • The greatest guitar riff ever.

  • The who are still awsome.but I really miss the Ox's aggressive tone. Pino just doesn't get it.........turn it up!

  • Elton John covers this because he sang it in the operatic film. He was the pinball wizard who lost to the blind kid.

To @mattbfc2009. Keith Moon added so much to every song, to copy him is never easy.

  • this his the hardest srumming sequence to learn ever!

  • @mattbfc2009 its not that hard

  • Pete Townshend wrote this, for the Tommy rock opera, in which Elton John performed it together with the Who. So I wouldn't say either 'covered' it, since the original performance was together.

  • @1991Tijmen1991 but townshend wrote it therefore its his and copied by elton

  • I'v always liked The Who they are masters of music, even now.

  • @freakybro121 they still rock, but to be honest, I think they used to be way better than they are now. I thought Endless Wire didn't sound really "The Who", just "good british rock band" which is good, but not quite as good as the original The Who-sound

  • I love how the guitar player switches out guitars just in the nick of time before his guitar solo part. How cool was that?

  • @Tuberidin01 What do you mean 'the guitar player'??? That is the legendary Pete Townsend! That's like saying 'the black geezer who lives in that big, fancy white house'!!!

  • @CombatRocks You got me.

  • keith moon if not the best hes high up there great band 6/5

  • @lees2oo8 i imagen that'll be zak starsky

  • I love this song. I was playing Pinball on my computer just a little bit again and I was thinking of it. It really made me want to bet my brothers high score which was #1 so I played until I did.

  • he had to change guitars cos he broke a string on the first one - the song sounds a lot different during the 30 seconds or so when he is not singing backup and playing the guitar. Entwistle and Daltry were kind of hung out to dry. Entwistle's bass stands out here - and the fact that Daltry really relied on Pete to hit the high notes. Interesting to hear that section, and then Pete rejoins and it is back to normal :)

  • en q año fue ese concierto?, Wonbstart no veo q no cambia la guitarra, -.-!

  • Zack Starkey!

  • Cool Song! I sing this song on my Emilydogcat channel :)

  • good song remember check out blackcrayon2 numa numa.

  • Intros great but i like bass better

  • Where in Vegas is this?

  • keeewality, an roger kens his rainbow troot

  • Para que el cambio de guitarra???

  • keith is already dead in this video right?

  • yes

  • Keith has been gone for many years by the time of this video.

  • pete is one fire with his singing mann

  • wow man i thought that was awsome because he said (PINBALL WIZARD!!!!!) LOL

  • are you stupid? pete townshed wrote this song

  • Elton John version is a cover from this...

  • What are you talking about? idiot... Pete Townshend wrote it from the who

  • hahahahaha u are an ignorant man

  • lol, are you an IDIOT

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Pete Townshend wrote this,this isn't a cover of a Elton John

  • @blutocampbell Who the hell would think that Elton wrote this?!?!?! LOL

  • @blutocampbell haha who the fuck wouldnt know that, good job tellin it to the musically uneducated ppl

  • @blutocampbell Thank You, Kids speak and haven't got a clue what coming out of there mouth any more.I am sure

they would tell you Pink Floyd wrote The Wall - not Roger Waters

  • @blutocampbell actually, Elton John covered it x) (but for the movie), you know

  • @Bootyking3069 dumbass,,,this originally is the who's song..on their live album, tommy

  • @Bootyking3069 dumbass.

  • ehh.. agreed.. to all comments previous,

  • Compared to when they first performed this, this is bad. But when you compare this to all this decade's other crap, this is amazing.

  • Age gets to us all man, Geddy Lee and Ian Gillan couldn't escape it, yet they still rock

  • Yeah, I will admit that this isn't their best performance. Still a good song though.

  • The Rock began with this band...

  • love the song but that was fuckin crap! love the who but they were fuckin crap!

  • LOL absolutely agree... this song is so great but this was bullshit XD!

  • after all that time... that STILL ROCK!

  • i love the who but this sucks

  • i met Roger Daltrey 2 weeks ago he seemed to be quite a nice bloke (:

  • Brilliant Song, check out my Ukulele cover of it!

  • banda do caralho !!!

    boa !!!

  • This song should be the theme song for a new spinoff of CSI.

    Maybe "CSI: Los Angeles"?

  • dude u are so right i agree

  • squeeze box should be the next csi theme

  • yea def

  • okay there are more teenagers i know that like rock. And rapisn't all bad i listen to rock, but i like rap too

  • you say *pointless long list of musicians* - I say shut the fuck up and enjoy the song.

  • I'm part of the <1% who like both and think chain letters are stupid at least the ones who like new music don't post these stupid messages

  • v I agree with these guys but stop spamming

  • Yeah, it says DON'T LET THE SPIRIT OF CLASSIC ROCK DIE!!! but spamming isn't going to help really. It's not going to make the people with the crap taste suddenly like good stuff. And if they had crap taste they wouldn't be on a Who video would they?

  • 2:24 : some problem with the guitar Pete?

  • @Firedragonime

    probably tore a string

  • R.I.P Keith moon

  • i cant beleive hes dead, i wish i could visit him and get taught drums by him

  • he holds the record for the only person to ever eat through a door

  • yeh keith moon killed himself :(

    he was kinda crazy.

  • just found out that roger daltry is my real dad.

  • ???

  • tis true.

  • ^ another crazy guy here

  • is keith moon dead ? reply please

  • not yet

  • yea he died in the 70's

  • Well. i think it will take a long time before he dies.

  • roger had an amazing voice! THAT GUYS GOT TALENT AND SAME WITH JOHN DAMN BEST BASS PLAYER EVER

  • rocks

    , thier are older though

  • He was and still is enchanting.

  • Tommy your getting old

  • "your"

    ohyou :D

  • "their"

  • If you're dissing The Who, YOU can try to sing or play better. Upload the vid of it, and we'll see YOU do better (MAYBE).

They just played thier hearts out right there, so it's just wrong to dis' them.

    ROCK LEGENDS: THE WHO

  • Sounds like something I'd say...

  • aw man totally not the same without keith moon...

  • Awesome....Thank god for THE WHO.......

  • At the beginning the base is alright, but it get better at about 0:30.

  • I'm sorry, but the who without Keith Moon is no who for me

although zack is a crazy good drummer:D

  • Wow. Dammnit, Roger can singer better with more range than I can, and he's 51 years older than me.

    Ah well, great performance.

  • even played when he was high.

  • Does anyone know what year this was in?

  • 1999

  • epic!

  • lol well i am the guitarist and my silger is awesome.......idk we only got one practice im so far so well see.

  • They used to say that back when the song was writen. Now all this over-sensative crap ruined it all.

  • yes

  • yes dumbass

  • "dumb" in this case doesn't mean "stupid", it means "can't speak". duh

  • i'm aware of that, that's just a shocking premice for a song, imo

  • wow your stupid. just be quiet your making yourself look dumber

  • stupider

  • Stupider isnt a word.

  • your not a word lol jk

  • @TrogdorFTW

    yes

    listen to the entire album

  • Anybody else prefer John's midrangey, burpy growl during this era to the heavily distorted sound he was going after before he died?

    I do.

  • My band might do a cover of this song for my schools battle of the bands

  • @oldbloodgenral

    no one gives a shit

    it probably sucked

  • HE HAD CRAZY FLIPPER FINGERS!!! man i love this song... btw, did any1 else notice roger daltrey looks REALLY young?

  • oh cool!

  • why did the dude switch guitars?

  • Firstly, never refer to Pete Townshend as "the dude".

Second, I suspect he broke a string. If you listen very, very carefully at around 2:12 or 2:13 you hear a very twangy, off-key chord.

  • townshend may be one of the greatest guitar players ever, but dont be such an asshole snob about it

  • I meant it more as a joke, but whatever. I suppose I can see how it can come off as a tad snobbish.

  • I got a minus for not knowing what all the band members names are, sorry I am not the master of classic rock.

  • And Moon?

  • this song makes me want to sk8 a empty pool

  • ugh, sorry im a purist and that drummer just aint keith nice effort but no thank you!

they had to get someone but why not someone who played with a tiny bit of the style moon the loon did.

  • i don't think anyone can match Keith... ever

  • I like this video, it shows how wonderful John played the bass. You barely noticed Pete switched guitar during the song!

  • Why'd he switch? Same guitar.

  • he broke a string.

  • rock band and guitar hero are for fags

  • Learn real guitar...GH is really taking away too many people

  • I don't play guitar, I sing! I was in Choir for 4 years...

  • I already learned it on real guitar, it's fun to play on a real instrument than some cheap plastic thing that breaks in 5 minutes.

  • I just love This song so much. So darn good lyrics :D ive just learned the song on guitar, I must just learn the text now to then im all set^^ Love live Pete Townshend, and The Who

  • this and tso's carol of the bells should be on gutair hero

  • Pinball Forever !

  • Lmao at Dalt
