I feel like a jerk when I use mindshackle scarabs (I had kharn wipe out his squad of berzerkers last night) but really, without them and almost certainly striking last, necrons need some tricks for CC.

Interesting Necrons list, it is always nice to see people trying new things like CC oriented Crons. I am surprised anyone is still playing Tyranids out there, they are terrible compared to the other 5th edition armies and barely hold their own vs 4th edition armies.

Were there any Lords in base contact with the Swarmlord? In order to use MSS you MUST be in base contact. Each MSS only allows D3 attacks to be made on that unit/model anyway.

good game... good lists, just piss poor deployment. Like he said, if those GS were deployed on the flanks, the crons wouldn't have been able to assault all those MC without an issue. I also think the Mindshackles do allow you to attack yourself as it says you attack your unit, and it does count as its own unit. So, unless GW sees it as OP, I don't think that'll change either. GG!
