- the cog project was abandoned by MIT many years ago, so this is basically a glance into the past.

In your dreams japan has more complex! COG is one of the most advanced robots that ever existsted and shows the block in teaching robots that scientists cannot get past. COG was aboadoned because they could not suceed with it so it became a waste of time. And if japan did have toys this complex they would be sold worldwide.
