It's a pedal, so it works just by pressing it, then it will replay the stuff you just played.

What kind of effects pedals are you using?

For the looping I use a Boss RC-2 loop pedal, and for the effects I use EBS Dynaverb (reverb) and a EBS BassIQ (envelope filter).
