I had a go at a making them out of a 6" nail cut down and filed to a point. so far they're not amazing but i can get them through a folded cardboard box on rare occasions!
I've heard about a chinese weapon that's concealed and attached to a sling-shot type weapon around the wrist. Supposedly it fires darts that are accurate to about 20 feet. Does anybody have of idea about what it might be?
anytime there are videos on here about it but i tried searching the web for em, and i found nothing. if you find anything more on it please get back to me :_)
anything's "possible," but please understand it took Jeff Adam's about 20 years to cultivate the skill shown in this video. The darts are very difficult to throw. The grip is not well-suited for group-throwing.
Jeff is an old friend of mine and actually manufactured my first throwing knives some 30 years ago, they were designed by myself and Harry McEvoy but Jeff brought them to life!!! He is an outstanding thrower and maker of all things throwable as well as some others, he dropped out of sight for many years to perfect his art which is very reminicent of Shirikami and has astounded me and several other throwing buddies!
Very impressive, if you notice Jeff is throwing small cocealable darts not huge chunks of steel that most of the other throwers use. Jeff makes his own darts and throwing knives.
The darts are 5" long, 47g. You can see them at flyingsteel [dot] com/store/?product_id=15
thanks!

How much do the darts he's throwing in the video weigh patriqq?
Awesome stuff man!
paramedia161 7 months ago
He's trying to throw it like a Shuriken. It's messing up his form a bit, the weight is wrong. But I guess that just means he's well rounded.

Very nice throw.. By the way he lookslike Bill Buchanan in 24

Thank you for introduction.
There is the point which fiyng steel is big different from other maker.
For example, other maker and a shop are treating Ninja manufacture.
They have the much case which they include Shuriken and a knife "in the small part"
However, expert of knife Throwing art is affecting Flying stell more than four people.
Ralph, Jeff, Mat(he is authority of knife throwing) and me and other.
We spent very big effort and time on a design for no-spin throwing in particular.

I make them, and buy them. My advise (for throwing) would be to watch the vids, and practice. thanks

I think Jeff is very cool. He made all the shuriken I own and throw right now, including many prototypes.

Could someone please send me a detailed explanation on how to throw darts/knives no spin style?
Canman239 3 years ago
Well, if your interested, I could tell you of a video/s that can teah to throw No-Spin but with Japanese Traditional Bo-Shuriken.
Haku92292 3 years ago
That would be great if you could.
Canman239 3 years ago
what kinda range can you get with those
stagnate007 3 years ago
Jeff gets an absolute maximum of 30 feet. 15 or 20 feet is a realistic effective range.

Excellent throwing technique.

Is it posible to throw 5 darts at the same time or more?
sebastiangj 3 years ago
Impressive, its hard to throw something that small. Just like a Bo-Shuriken I guess.
Haku92292 4 years ago
I own some Shuriken which Mr.Jeff Adams made.
It is a splendid work!
If I can order Shuriken specially, I want to order it from him.
In this video,
Traditional knife throwing and traditional "Japanese Shuriken- throwing" are mixed in very stable form.
It is easy to throw long Shuriken.
However, such short Shuriken needs mastery of skills.
Mr.Jeff Adams is splendid.

Neat. Now lets see a forty foot throw with some good backspin!
I am impressed.
I think I will start throwing my own Adams Flying Dart set more often...

Yes, Jeff makes and sells these darts. And yes, the darts are small (5 inches by 5/16 inches) which is a definite advantage.
