@Pauliebuck You are correct. This is a blackhawk, not an Apache. The person who titled the video is incorrect. The 30mm on the Apache sounds nothing like what you hear in this video...what you hear is an M134 Minigun. This is an MH-60L DAP (Direct Air Penetrator).
@waltondp2 oh ok thank you haha i was almost certain it wasnt an apache first of all by the shape and second like you said the gun is a mini gun which is about 5,000 rounds a minute and then the apaches 30mm has a much slower rate of fire but still packs a big punch hahaha and also i wanted to know since this is a blackhawk and you said its a MH-60L DAP is that just a different variant of the blackhawk because i know the transport version of the blackhawk is the UH-60
@Pauliebuck Well a UH-60 is just a base model of the Blackhawk. UH stands for "Utility Helicopter." The M in "MH" stands for Multi-Mission. Basically what that means is it's a special helicopter that flies special missions. The DAP is operated by the 160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment). A quick google will lead you to some links that will give you pretty much all the specs on it, aside from the classified ones that none of us ar allowed to know!
