  • Nice ride! I'm curious as to what spring you have in your tial 50. My Tial 50 doesn't flutter at all with a -3 spring.

  • @mawk27 I was pushing 12# or more through the blower. With a -3 spring I assume it's supercharged. You need 6# of boost or more for it to flutter. Hope that helps.

  • @Drewstein666 Thanks. I'm pushing 14psi through a 402 on a novi 1500 and no flutter with the -3 spring at 774rwhp/738rwtq. You can hear the difference in my dyno pulls. Thought it was interesting as all the tials I have heard don't flutter. My old YSI setup had a vortech bov that fluttered.

  • @shreddinthenar That's the Tial 50mm BOV which flutters when the RPMs are up with the throttle plate closed.

  • Funny how someone like EPP (exotic performance plus 402 can make over 860RWHP on a eddy current loaded mustang dyno just by using the Proper size procharger (F1) ... no n2o , no bullshit.

  • @WorkoutModerator Very true a larger blower makes more power. I started with a D1 and a stock motor so I had the unit still when I blew the LS1. 783rwhp was more than enough for me so I left it at that. Also, EPP and other use a lot of meth which I don't. I feel meth is a crutch for decent fuel. Those runs were on 91 octane only.

  • Short list, build 402 with a D1 procharger on it. All supporting mods of course. Check it out in the October edition of Corvette magazine!

  • That is one of the best looking c5s I've ever seen! what/ where did you get those body mods and what kinda suspension and wheel/ tire combo are you running in this video?

  • The wheels are iForged Aero 18/19 matte black center, gloss black lip and time attack red stripe. The rear fenders are from West Coast Corvettes along with the rear facia and hood. The suspension is Z51 dropped on aftermarket lowering bolts.

  • Twin turbo, huh? So will it be custom or the STS system? Also, why turbo this time around? Are you putting NOS on this one too? Personally, not a big fan of NOS. I prefer pure engine, or engine with turbo or supercharger. But to each, his own.

  • It's a TTiX kit. Final dyno for pump tune should be Wednesday. I'll get that video and upload it for everyone. I wanted to try something new just for the experience. It will be turbo only as well. I only used N20 on the C5 because the D1 was out of juice and I wanted more power. Thanks for the comments!

  • Can't wait to see it. Good luck. Just thought. You could barely keep traction with those street slicks. Gonna do anything differently this time around? Also, it would be interesting to see the differences in 1/4 times with the street slicks and pure slicks.

  • Blowing the tires off usually helps save drive train parts which isn't so bad lol. I'll start off running a 345 drag radial this time before going to a full slick/skinny setup for the track.

  • Yes it'sa Tial 50mm. I switched from the Procharger bypass because I wasn't sure it could handle the boost.
