Royalty should be allowed to marry whomever they wish. Look at the mess Diana got into - she was "used" as a birthing cow. Her husband could not wait and try to see if he would eventually fall in love with his beautiful wife. Now he has the shriveled up wife he wanted from the start. If they were able to marry anyone they wanted There would never be another tragic case as "Diana"
Well, Princess Margaret lived a life full of hedonistic excesses and that takes a toll on ones body eventually...It is sad, but what I found so disgusting was the fact that her son didn't wait too long before auctioning off her valuable posessions to the highest bidder...He is a vile individual, and I believe that upset her sister, HM The Queen.
@calalilygirl She could have married him if she wanted to but she would have had to give up her Royal status and that was obviously more important to her than love.
stroke is very easy to treat with acupuncture and some herbs. I felt many people just do not believe and do not try, thinking all other medicine going to harm them. :(
@UK31337 : it not only broke her heart, but also her health. at the time the QM had a cold already, but she insisted on being flown by a RAF helicopter to Windsor for her daughter's funeral, although her physician warned against traveling, but hey, you don't tell the last empress of India what she can or cannot do...
God, she looked like her father :) RIP Princess.

They should have let her marry her true love. Life is cruel and unfair often.

This was only eight weeks before the Queen Mother died.
Some say it broke the QM's heart and she just slipped away.
