Guys, I'm a coach driver, driven in the snow. Its not as hard as you think. Its actually easier than driving a car. You have more surface area with 6 wheels, its much harder to spin and the weight, and lower gears gives you far better traction. Most bus and coach drivers could do this.If you look carefully,you see the vehicle never looses traction. Bus and coach drivers, imho, are probably better than truck drivers, what with the extra front and rear overhang as well as passengers to keep happy.

the bus is heavier and therefore has more grip on the road. Else he just didnt brake too much and still maintained a little bit of speed so he didnt have to overcome static friction which is always higher than rolling friction.

@hameeds01 Buses don't have traction control, ESC or ABS, they're rear wheel drive as well... I should know, I've been on them every winter except the last one. They have electromagnetic retarders which are ineffective at the speed this bus is going, they do spin the rear wheels up a bit on ice, when braking to a standstill at 5mph they lock up all the wheels and skid 30 feet... you're totally wrong. 100% wrong.
