Us San Franciscans have always had a love/hate relationship with candlestick. I was young, but remember being miserable when I went to baseball games there in terms of weather. But the crowds were much more loyal, rowdy and passionate than they are at Pac Bell Park. Many of my best memories as a Giants fan took place at Candlestick. It will be very sad to see you go in a few years.
I miss the days of going to Giants games in on bitter cold July evenings with my whole family sitting in the Family Pavilion in right field, and being huddled up in sleeping bags watching the game! Good times!
they should play at least an exhibition game here

Back then we all couldn't wait to leave Candlestick, nowadays I sometimes yearn for the chance to watch the Giants play there just one more time.
