Fender 2005 Olympic White Stratocaster jam!

i have the 2005 olympic white strat with maple neck. neck has had compund radius 9.5 to 12 with 6105 frets. upgrades were fender hot golds coil tapded in series on pos 2 and 4. fender staggered locking tuners callaham tremblock stainless steel saddles springs and screws and strap locks. guitar is mint, and would never sell it.

Around 1300 dollars used! I changed the pickups from this clip to Fender Custom Shop 69' and now it sounds even better!! It's a Standard 2005 Strat, so it's not rare, but ofcourse they don't make as many lefty models as they make rightys!! Cheers Michael

It will yellow into a cream color as the guitar matures over the years, but it yellows at such a slow rate that my olympic white strat is 20yrs old and just off white.

I think I used a cheap Ibanez distortion called "Mostortion", it sound a lot like a Tube Screamer and a TRex Compressor (Comp Nova) and then som reverb from the amp!! That's about it!!! Cheers Michael

Yeah it sounds great! But they are not very good with distortion, so I just replaced them with Fender Custom Shop 69 pickups, and now it sounds even sweeter!! Michael

I recorded the background music myself! I have a BOSS Loop Station Pedal. It's a pedal with pre installed beats and the chance to loop up to several tracks on top of each other! It's perfeckt for practicing! You should check it out! Cheers Michael

I can tell you that.. You can't cause it's me who recorded it, just before starting the camera to film this clip.. I have a Boss RC-2 Loop Station... So it's just a G and a C played and then looped over and over again.. The Loop Station also has a lot of beats pre installed and you can decide the tempo and stuff.. It's very need.. Hi there.. Funny in fact I'm thinking about changing the Kinmans to Custom Shop 69's... The Kinman's sound very nice and clear with clean sound but I think theres something missing when adding too much distortion.. For the John Mayer sound, I don't know if it is the 69's?? I think it's more like Hendrix and Blackmore! I think I will put the Kinmans on my other Strat and buy some 69's for this one.. Rock on. Mic
