I played Xenogears for the first time around 97-98, and I was floored. It changed my fragile teenage mind! I played it only twice after that, but have kept the soundtrack close to me since then. When I came upon this video it unleashed a torrent of memories. I started crying when Bart appeared, I had completely forgotten him.
As to your actual vocals and music.... man, it was really freaking good. I would download it and add it to my Yasunori Mitsuda folder in a heartbeat.

This definitely has to be the best FMV I've seen of any game, along with the most inspiring vocals and instrumental work done by someone I've heard... all done by one person--amazing! The original version gives me chills, but this one seriously brought tears to my eyes after hearing how beautiful it sounded plus viewing all of those touching moments from the game.

Sounds very...professional! I've heard fandubs before, and this sounds a lot different then them. No background noise, you can hear the voice fully. The music is wonderfully done. @Dragonstar13 Oh thankyou so much! I have my own studio that I created out of my clothes closet that helps tremendously in reducing background noise. There's a video on my channel with me recording on camera, where you can see bits of the studio, and another one where I give an actual tour of what I use and my instruments. I do this as a hobby at the moment, but I'll be releasing an original CD of my own compositions in a month or so, and then hopefully I'll be doing this for a living!

I almost didn't give you a chance because I have seen so many fan songs done badly, but I've gone through a lot of your music now, and I'm covered in goosebumps trying not to shed tears. I'm releasing my first original CD later this month acutally, all self-produced though, no label. But I hope my youtube crowd will like it ^^

Kate, I love all your covers, I have to admit. It's hard picking a favorite, but this, Rose of May, You're Not Alone, and Aerith's Theme are probably my top picks. My question is this: did you make up the Aveh language, or did you find a translation guide somewhere (and if so where)?
Xenogears is my all-time favorite game (though I haven't played it since my copy got worn out), and this was always one of my favorite songs, so I was excited to hear this in your covers. Keep up the awesome work.

Xenogears's bond of sea and fire is one of my fondest memories of my video game history and your vocals added a level of intensity to this piece that makes me sit here in the internet café and almost break out in tears .... wonderful!

This definitely has to be the best FMV I've seen of any game, along with the most inspiring vocals and instrumental work done by someone I've heard... all done by one person--amazing! The original version gives me chills, but this one seriously brought tears to my eyes after hearing how beautiful it sounded plus viewing all of those touching moments from the game.
All of your pieces sound so great... I would be really happy if you were to become a composer for games someday. Keep it up! ^_^

I looked over your Final Fantasy work, and I was in between extremes with how I felt about some of it. (Your version of You're Not Alone was very well done)
But this... Xenogears was the most mature and intelligent game ever made, and you have done it more than justice. Yasunori Mitsuda would be proud

Sounds very...professional! I've heard fandubs before, and this sounds a lot different then them. No background noise, you can hear the voice fully. The music is wonderfully done. This almost makes it hard to believe this was made by one person. If I didn't know better I'd swear this was a remix by Mitsuda-san himself. Do you do music for a living or a hobby?

@Dragonstar13 Oh thankyou so much! I have my own studio that I created out of my clothes closet that helps tremendously in reducing background noise. There's a video on my channel with me recording on camera, where you can see bits of the studio, and another one where I give an actual tour of what I use and my instruments. I do this as a hobby at the moment, but I'll be releasing an original CD of my own compositions in a month or so, and then hopefully I'll be doing this for a living!

I particularly like this song. It sounds exotic and I have played Xenogears and LOVED the game. So, it's pretty awesome :) Almost wish you and I could sing a duet. I just love your stuff that much :) Awesome voice.
